The processing method of the arrester comprises the following steps: (1) coating the waterproof sealant on the electrodes, the resistance chips and the cushion blocks; (2) externally sleeving the silicon rubber case, erecting the silicon rubber case, and vertically fixing the silicon rubber case to the pouring sealant holder, and enabling the silicon rubber case to connect with a vacuum pump to extract the air in the silicon rubber case; and (3) ensuring that the lower end of the silicon rubber case is connected with a sealant storage bottle, extracting the heat conducting liquid sealant in the sealant storage bottle under the effect of the negative pressure in the silicon rubber case, and ensuring that the heat conducting liquid sealant is completely filled in the gap between the silicon rubber case and the waterproof sealant.
