Method for the Enhancement of Injection Activities and Stimulation of Oil and Gas Production

By removing material of low permeability from within and around a perforation tunnel and creating at least one fracture at the tip of a perforation tunnel, injection parameters and effects such as outflow rate and, in the case of multiple perforation tunnels benefiting from such cleanup, distribution of injected fluids along a wellbore are enhanced. Following detonation of a charge carrier, a second explosive event is triggered within a freshly made tunnel, thereby substantially eliminating a crushed zone and improving the geometry and quality (and length) of the tunnel. In addition, this action creates substantially debris-free tunnels and relieves the residual stress cage, resulting in perforation tunnels that are highly conducive to injection under fracturing conditions for disposal and stimulation purposes, and that promote even coverage of injected fluids across the perforated interval.

Gas turbine engine

A gas turbine engine has, in a cross section in the axial direction of an annular inner peripheral wall connected to a blade main body of a turbine blade, a concave part and a convex part on the front edge side and the rear edge side. The concave part has a negative curvature and is concave toward the axis, and the convex part has a positive curvature and is convex away from the axis. The flow rate on the upper face of the blade main body can be reduced in the concave part on the front edge side, thus suppressing generation of a shock wave, and the flow rate can be increased in the convex part on the rear edge side following the concave part, thus smoothly changing the flow rate on the upper face of the blade main body and thereby minimizing the pressure loss. In this way, the thickness of the blade main body can be reduced while ensuring the performance of the gas turbine engine, thereby contributing to a reduction in weight.

The bank of the pins is tuned by locations of the pins within the cooling air supply channel.

Ejector cycle and ejector device

The present invention has an object to provide an ejector cycle and an ejector, according to which a sufficient cooling performance can be obtained even when the input amount of the refrigerant to the ejector is decreased. A passage changeover means having a bypass channel is formed in an ejector. The passage changeover means opens the bypass channel in a bypass cooling operation, in which an input amount of the refrigerant to the ejector is decreased due to a low ambient temperature, and so on. Accordingly, in this bypass cooling operation, the refrigerant from an outside heat exchanger to the ejector bypasses an ejector nozzle and flows to an evaporator through the bypass channel.

Lubrication system with prolonged loss of lubricant operation

A lubrication system includes an external pump system which pumps air out of the housing and develop negative pressure therein in response to a loss of lubrication condition. The negative pressure operates as an air lock to minimize or prevent lubricating oil loss from the housing while an internal lubrication system continues to distribute lubricating oil—which although now increasing in temperature—still operates to lubricate the gearbox components. For further ballistic tolerance, the housing is a compound housing that reduces or closes the penetration and further minimizes lubricating oil and negative pressure loss. The housing may be still further hardened by an armor layer.
