An ultrasonic sensor for detecting an object includes: a substrate; a transmission device for transmitting an ultrasonic wave; a plurality of reception devices for receiving the ultrasonic wave; and a circuit for processing received ultrasonic waves, which are received by the reception devices after the ultrasonic wave transmitted from the transmission device is reflected by the object. The transmission device and the reception devices are integrated into the substrate. The dimensions of the sensor are minimized, and detection accuracy of the sensor is improved.

A dual light-source position detecting system for use in touch screens is provided that utilizes parallax to determine the position of an interposing object, and a prismatic film that is brightly retroreflective over a broad entrance angle to enhance to accuracy of the parallax determination of position. The position detecting system includes at least one camera positioned to receive light radiation traversing a detection area and that generates a signal representative of an image; two spaced-apart sources of light radiation, which may be LEDs, or IR emitters positioned adjacent to the camera for outputting light radiation that overlaps over at least a portion of a detection area, and a prismatic film positioned along a periphery of at least a portion of the detection area that retroreflects the light radiation from the two sources to the camera. The prismatic film includes a plurality of triangular cube corner retroreflective elements having dihedral angle errors e1, e2, and e3 such that e1≈e2≈0 and e3≈0 to enhance the efficiency of the retroreflection of the light radiation from the two spaced apart LEDS or IR emitters along the sides of the detection area. If two cameras are mounted in opposing corners of a same side of the touch screen and two dual radiation sources are used in combination with these cameras, an unambiguous determination can be made of the location of two simultaneously interposing objects.

Dual clutch gearbox

A double clutch transmission with two clutches (K1, K2) is proposed in which each clutch inputs is connected with a drive shaft (w0) and the clutch outputs are respectively coupled with two, coaxial positioned transmission input shaft (w1, w2) of partial transmissions. The double clutch transmission comprises two counter shafts (w3, w6), coaxial positioned with respect to one another. Each partial transmission has several, shiftable gear ratio steps assigned thereto which each can be coupled with the output shaft (w5), via the assigned counter shaft (w3, w6) and via a main shaft (w4) which is linked to an input section of a planetary transmission which is designed as range group, The output shaft (w5) is positioned coaxially with respect to the driveshaft (w0). At least one shiftable gear ratio step, of at least one of the partial transmissions, can be coupled with the output shaft (w5) independent from the range group.

Structure lamp pipe insert connector

An improved structure lamp pipe insert connector comprised of a locking connector component situated between upper and lower lamp pipes, the locking connector component comprised of a threaded rod, a lock sleeve fastened onto the threaded rod, and constraining rings respectively sleeved (not fastened) onto the two ends of the threaded rod and, furthermore, situated at the two sides of the lock sleeve. The interior of the constraining ring is a sloped surface and a plurality of detent slots are disposed along its inner circumferential extent and, after a spring is prepositioned on the sloped surface, it is then sleeved onto the threaded rod. Furthermore, there are revolving guide ring elements with beveled sides, each revolving guide ring element having guide blocks aligned with the constraining ring detent slot positions and capable of entry into the detent slots, thereby providing for the synchronous rotation of the revolving guide ring elements and the constraining rings. When the lamp pipes drive the constraining rings into rotation, the revolving guide ring element beveled sides are forced against the constraining ring sloped surfaces and become tightly ensconced within the inner circumference of the lamp pipes. As such, assembly is simple and enables user self-assembly and, furthermore, since each steel pipe can be disassembled, shipping dimensions are minimized.
