The invention discloses a manufacturing process of an
insect specimen. The manufacturing process comprises the following steps: step 1, collecting information; step 2,
insect catching: catching insects by an
insect catching device, and putting the caught insects into a poison
bottle for poison killing; step 3,
corrosion prevention: putting the poisoned and killed insects into 95%
ethanol for
alcohol disinfection, and killing microorganisms for
corrosion prevention; step 4, shaping; step 5,
drying; step 6,
softening regaining: putting the dried insects in a
softening regaining vessel, and dropwise adding 10-20 ml of carbolic acid for
softening regaining, wherein the softening time is 30-40 min; step 7, spreading wing fixing: spreading and stretching curled beards, feet, antennae and the like of the softened insects through a teasing needle, then separating, pressing downwards and resetting the two wings, and placing the insects through a spreading wing fixing method after
insertion needle fixing; step 8,
air drying; and step 9, labeling: making the information collected in the step 1 into a
label, and placing the
label on the air-dried insect specimen to obtain the insect specimen.
