Multifunctional bluetooth earphone device with neck speakers

The present invention is constituted by a neck band assembly, a left functional assembly and a right functional assembly. The left functional assembly is provided with a speaker, control keys and a left earplug-type earphone. The right functional assembly is provided with a speaker, control keys and a right earplug-type earphone. When a user is listening music, he or she can hear exterior sound and when the present invention is used in a closed space, it will not interfere with other people. An angle of open and close between the left or right functional assembly and the neck band assembly can be adjusted. The left and right functional assemblies can be rotated, folded and closed. The neck band assembly can be also changed to a hair band assembly.

Method and apparatus for gathering seismic data

In the present invention, a seismic receiver contains an onboard digitizer that samples and converts a signal from detected seismic energy into the digital domain. The receiver contains an analog to digital converter, a transmission circuitry, and a link to the seismic detection circuitry. The signal from the seismic detection circuitry is converted into a digital signal, which is then relayed to the data recorder. These components are all resident to the receiver itself. Additional control circuitry is employed to provide clocking and testing functions. These receivers communicate with one another, and provide sampled seismic data on an individual basis. The components may be prepared on a PCB and put inside the receiver cap. The PCB may be flexible in nature, as to provide a maximum of surface mounted components in the smallest amount of space.

Device, system, kit or method for collecting effluent from an individual

The present invention relates to a device, method, system and kit for receiving effluent from an individual. In an alternative embodiment, the present invention is directed to a device, method, system and kit for collecting effluent from an individual during a medical or diagnostic procedure including but not limited to, imaging or viewing one or more sections of an individual's gastrointestinal tract. In another alternative embodiment, the effluent is collected in a hollow area in order to prevent the effluent form contaminating a component, device or apparatus used in connection with the medical or diagnostic procedure.

Battery powered portable electric light source systems

A battery powered portable electric light source has multiple sets of spare batteries contained in its battery compartment, whereby mixups between exhausted and fresh batteries are effectively avoided. A flashlight having a light output stronger than the mentioned electric light source is provided for use of batteries from the battery compartment of the mentioned portable container, and batteries are exchanged between that portable container and that flashlight. Apparatus for providing electric light have an electric light source requiring for energization a pair of batteries in series and a portable container for several pairs of these batteries connected each in series at a bottom of that container. Each of these several pairs of batteries includes a first battery having a first positive terminal and an opposite first negative terminal, and a second battery having a second positive terminal connected to that first negative terminal and an opposite second negative terminal. First positive terminals of first batteries of the several pairs of batteries and second negative terminals of second batteries of the several pairs of batteries are in substantially the same plane for selective application of the electric light source thereto for energization therefrom. A socket for the electric light source includes terminals corresponding to adjacent terminals of any one of the several pairs of batteries in that container. Unspent batteries in film packs may be used to energize light sources.

High temperature damper for a roller bearing

A high temperature damper for a roller bearing having a long shelf life and capable of withstanding temperatures in a gas turbine engine shaft. The damper includes a damping chamber formed between a stator housing and the outer race of the bearing, and is filled with a liquid metal such as Gallium that has a paste-like consistency at room temperature so as not to flow and leak from the damping chamber, and a liquid-like consistency at about 1,500 degrees F. in order to withstand the extreme temperatures of a gas turbine engine. Seals having a U-shape cross section are made of a high temperature metal like Hastalloy or Hynes and enclose the liquid metal within the damping chamber.

Tissue Fixative Having Increased Viscosity

A gel fixative composition having increased, viscosity which fixes tissues as well as or better than standard liquid fixative solutions. The gel fixative compositions are less prone to leakage and are less likely to splash or spill from containers when they are mishandled. Because of their viscosity, they are less likely to penetrate surfaces and are more easily cleaned up if spilled. A method of making mixing biological fixative by mixing a solution of a biological fixative with a with a high-shear mixer at about 400 to 600 rpm; dispersing uniformly over time about 0.2 to about 2.0 weight percent of thickener while mixing for 2 to 10 minutes; increasing the mixing speed to about 1000 to 1500 rpm; and then, mixing for about 90 to 120 minutes so that a gel fixative composition is formed having a viscosity between about 1,000 cp and 200,000 cp.
