An air intake system on a front-engine passenger car

The invention provides an air inlet system on a passenger car with a front engine. Air sequentially enters an air inlet grating, an upper section air flue, a front air inlet channel, a rear air inlet channel and an air filter. The upper section air flue is composed of a vehicle door outer panel, a vehicle door inner panel and an upper air inlet unit. The front air inlet channel comprises a floor framework and a front air inlet unit connected to the floor framework. The rear air inlet channel comprises a floor framework and a rear air inlet unit connected to the floor framework. The front air inlet unit and the rear air inlet unit are communicated to form an independent ventilation assembly which is not limited by the relative positions of the air inlet grating and the air filter. Therefore, the air inlet system is suitable for the passenger car with the front engine and is high in universality, the structural gap of an existing vehicle body can be fully used, and installation difficulty and cost can be reduced. Besides, distribution space of seats in the vehicle body can be increased, quality of air entering the air filter is improved, and safe and efficient water drainage is benefited.
