A air drag reduction apparatus includes left and right planar panels and top and bottom planar panels for mounting to the rear doors of a tractor trailer along the top, bottom and side edges thereof. Hinges are interposed between the panels and the doors so that the panels can pivot about the hinges between an extended drag-reducing position and a collapsed position generally adjacent the rear doors. Stop devices releasably secure the panels in the extended position, and biasing devices such as tensioning springs are operative to bias the panels outwards and rearwards to the extended position and are further operative to permit the panels to pivot between the extended position towards and to the collapsed position upon impact and contact from an external object occurring and then return to the extended position substantially immediately upon contact ceasing thereby significantly reducing the impact damage.

The cap has a bottom opening adapted for reversible attachment to a gas cylinder, where the attached cap surrounds a cylinder valve coupled to the gas cylinder. The cap also has a side surface which at least in part defines the perimeter of the bottom opening, where the side surface include a plurality of side openings; and a top surface formed on an opposite side of the cap from the bottom surface, where the top surface includes a top opening. The side openings and top opening improve transmissions of radio-frequency signals from a RFID device positioned inside the cylinder cap when the cap is attached to the gas cylinder. A method of tracking a gas cylinder transported between a first and second location is also described. The method may include the steps of coupling the gas cylinder to a RFID device, loading the gas cylinder on a transportation vehicle, and reading a gas cylinder identification signal transmitted by the RFID device with an RFID signal reader that translates the signal into gas cylinder identification data. The gas cylinder identification data may be associated with location data provided by a GPS device located in the transportation vehicle. The identification and location data may be communicated to gas cylinder tracking system that is remote from the transportation vehicle.

The first position allows the camera (22) to observe the region immediately behind the vehicle. The swivel mechanism also moves the camera (22) to a second position when the driver engages a gear for forward motion, whereby a wider field of view is observable at the rear of the vehicle.

The cam shaft is structured such that an air inlet or exhaust rocker arm is provided with first cam and second cam adjacent to each other. A flange is arranged between the two cams. When the rocker arm roller is switched to the other cam, as a result of blockageby the flange, only when the cam shaft rotates to the part, as the basic circle, of the two cams, the cams can be switched, so that the reliability is ensured. A plurality of actuators can be controlled by one electromagnetic valve. The cam shaft is low in cost. The two cams can be used for achieving functions needed by the engine, for example, variable air valve or engine brake.
