coring and drilling method and device. According to the method, hot water is adopted as a power medium to drive a downhole drilling tool to rotate to complete
coring and drilling, a swirl
injector principle is adopted, through a current guiding channel designed in a
drill bit, the hot water is guided to erupt from the side wall of the
drill bit, a
counterforce of the hot water drives the
drill bit rotate, so that ice
layers are
cut, and the drilling is completed. The device includes a hot
water pipe, a cable, a cable terminal, a grounding detection mechanism, a
water diversion joint, an upper centering guide, an electric cabin, a lower centering guide, a transition
pipe, a lower-portion dual-tube drilling tool and a lower-portion self-rotation
drill bit. According to the method and device, the swirl
injector principle is applied to downhole
detritus, and rapid polar ice-layer
coring and drilling can be achieved; a heat-
machine mixed method is adopted to conduct sampling and the drilling, the hot water not only provides downhole power for the downhole drilling tool but also brings
flake ice generated by the drilling out of hole bottoms and melts the
flake ice, and the drilling efficiency and service life of the downhole power drilling tool are improved.
