The invention belongs to the field of auxiliary adhesives in wallpaper and wall cloth industry and in particular relates to a wallpaper mural adhesive and a preparation method of the wallpaper mural adhesive. The wallpaper mural adhesive is prepared by gelatinizing, cross-linking, complexing, adhesive mixing and reacting of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 66-68 parts of deionized water, 10-12 parts of waxy modified starches, 2-3 parts of cross-linking etherified starch, 2.0-2.5 parts of carbamide, 0.08-0.1 part of a stabilizing agent, 19-21 parts of acrylate modified white latex, 0.1 part of a defoaming agent, 1-1.2 parts of glycerol and 0.25 part of a bactericide. Two modified starches are gelatinized, cross-linked, complexed and reacted to form glutinous rice glue; the glutinous rice glue is mixed with the acrylate modified white latex to modify adhesion performance and form mural adhesive.
