A method for surveying and prospecting the blind deposit through the solid tide piezoeffect and natural potential, its steps are as below: a) in the survey area, arrange the non-polarizable electrode according to the gridding method, the buried depth and requirements must be similar with that for natural potential survey method; b) fulfill the twice potential measurement for these arranged electrodes, in which, one measurement is carried out at high solid tide, the other is carried out at the low solid tide; c) calculate the solid tide piezoelectric abnormal constant according to the measured potential results; at the section with blind deposit, the difference between the high solid tide potential and low solid tide potential is very high; at the section without blind deposit, the difference between the high solid tide potential and low solid tide potential is very low. The invention utilizes the piezoeffect principle, combine the piezoeffect caused by the solid tide with the natural potential measurement, it is an effective method for direct surveying the quartz-vein gold and other deposits (with piezoeffect).
