38 results about "Snips" patented technology

Snips, also known as shears, are hand tools used to cut sheet metal and other tough webs. There are two broad categories: tinner's snips, which are similar to common scissors, and compound-action snips, which use a compound leverage handle system to increase the mechanical advantage.

Hand tool providing double compound leverage to the jaws

A hand tool for use by one hand provides double compound leverage of the force exerted on the handles to the jaws. This is achieved by adding additional pivots and lever arms between the handles and the jaws. The jaws may take the form of a sheet metal snip or a pruning shear.

Compound Action Snips

A compound action snips includes first and second handles pivotally connected to each other, and first and second blades. The first handle includes first and second walls arranged opposite to each other. The second wall includes a recess. The first blade is mounted to the first handle. The second blade is mounted to the second handle. A fastener inserts into the first wall, the first blade, and the second wall. A fixing element is received into the recess and threaded onto the fastener, so that a top surface defined on the fixing element is not exposed out of the second wall of the first handle.

Method for deducting whole spectrum background of gamma energy spectrum by using successive approximation SNIP calculation

The invention discloses a method for deducting the whole spectrum background of a gamma energy spectrum by using successive approximation SNIP calculation, which can solve the problem of high dependency of the existing SNIP algorithm on parameters, peak searching and peak zones. The method for deducting the whole spectrum background of a gamma energy spectrum by using successive approximation SNIP calculation adapts to the improvement of a peak zone width by using a filter window, and simultaneously improves the background deducting precision by using successive approximation, thus laying a foundation for accurate analysis of gamma energy spectra, wherein the deducted background is directly regarded as a new energy spectrum for calculation after first calculation; the iterative termination condition is not a fixed step, and is set to satisfy the condition that the relative error of the background areas obtained at two successive times satisfies a FORMULA. The method for deducting the whole spectrum background of a gamma energy spectrum by using successive approximation SNIP calculation avoids artificial parameter selection, and can greatly improve the background deducting accuracy; and this improvement does not affect the execution speed of the SNIP algorithm, so the operation efficiency is high.

Machining method and machining die for T iron with high wire diameter ratio

The invention discloses a machining method and a machining die for T iron with the high wire diameter ratio, and belongs to the technical field of T iron machining. The machining method is the new T iron machining technology which is high in production efficiency and stable in product quality. The machining method comprises the steps that (1), according to the requirements of T iron, bars with reasonable diameters are calculated, selected and cut into blanks; (2) the blanks are placed into a lower die installed on a circular-snip heading machine, positioning pins of a workpiece are squeezed out by a first trimming die at first, then the positioning pins are used for positioning, bar materials are clamped into the lower die, the first trimming is changed into a second trimming die to rapidly beat after the first trimming die is retreated, and a shape of an agaric head is formed; (3) blanks processed through heading and obtained in the step (2) are placed into a flattening die to be flattened; (4) the flattened blanks obtained in the step (3) are placed into a forming die, and T iron is formed. The machining die comprises the heading combination die, the flattening die and the forming die, and is used for machining the T iron with the high wire diameter ratio.

Method for removing background from spectrogram, method of identifying substances through raman spectrogram, and electronic apparatus

The disclosure provides a method for removing background from a spectrogram, including: finding out peak information of a raw spectrogram, the peak information including a peak position, a starting point, an ending point, and a peak width w of a peak; processing, within each peak area defined by the starting point and the ending point of each peak of the raw spectrogram, each peak of the raw spectrogram by using a SNIP method so as to obtain background data within each peak area; replacing, within each peak area, data of the raw spectrogram with the background data obtained through processing by using the SNIP method, so as to form a background spectrogram in a fitting way; smoothing the formed background spectrogram; and subtracting the smoothed background spectrogram from the raw spectrogram so as to obtain a spectrogram with removed background.

Snips including a jaw stop

A hand tool for actuation between a closed state and an open state includes a first jaw member having a first blade portion and a first extension portion. The first blade portion defines a first cutting edge having a first substantially convex profile along its entire length. A first handle member is coupled to the first extension portion. A second jaw member is pivotably coupled to the first jaw member. The second jaw has a second blade portion and a second extension portion. The second blade portion includes a second edge having a second substantially convex profile along its entire length. A second handle member is coupled to the second extension portion. The first jaw member and the second jaw member define a jaw stop that inhibits the first blade portion and the second blade portion from opening beyond a predetermined jaw angle.
