The coal gas purification system is provided with an underground groove and a pump, one end of a waterpumping pipe extends into the underground groove, and the other end of the water pumping pipe is connected with a water inlet of the pump; a water outlet of the pump is connected with a water outlet pipe, the device is provided with a water supplement groove, and the bottom of the water supplement groove is connected with a pump priming port of the pump through a pipe; the height of the bottom ofthe water supplement groove is higher than that of the pump priming port, and a first valve is arranged on the pipe. According to the automatic water supplement device, automatic water supplement andliquid level linkage of storage grooves for the coal gas purification system are achieved, the pump is automatically started and stopped, and the labor intensity of workers and hidden dangers of environmental protection accidents are reduced.
