Composite sensor device and method of producing the same

A plane vibrator of an angular velocity sensor and a movable member of an acceleration sensor are provided in a spaced floating state on the same substrate. A lid is formed so as to cover and be spaced from the upper side of the plane vibrator and the movable member. A space defined by the substrate and the lid is sectioned into a angular velocity sensor space and an acceleration sensor space by use of a sectioning wall. The angular velocity sensor space is hermetically sealed to be in the vacuum state. The acceleration sensor space is hermetically sealed to be under atmospheric pressure. The plane vibrator is vibrated at a high frequency and a large amplitude so that the angular velocity detection sensitivity is enhanced. The movable member, even if vibration of the plane vibrator is transmitted thereto, is prevented from vibrating at a high frequency and a large amplitude, due to the damping effect of air. Thus, the acceleration detection sensitivity is enhanced.

The present invention provides a liquid-crystal display device that is able to reduce EMI, current consumption, and so forth in an interchip transfer of display data, a timing signal, and so forth and to provide an appropriate timing margin. In an interchip transfer of display data, a timing signal, and so forth that uses a plurality of data drivers, a certain data driver is used as a data driver. When the data driver is used in a first stage, an internal receiver is made to function as an RSDS receiver by fixing the IFM terminal at the “H” level. The received RSDS signal constitutes a CMOS signal that has been divided into two by the receiver and is output by the transmitter. Here, a data inversion signal is generated and output by the transmitter. When the data driver is used in the second or subsequent stage, the internal receiver is made to function as a CMOS receiver by fixing the IFM terminal at the “L” level. The received CMOS signal is output after being subjected to inversion control by means of the data inversion signal by the receiver and transmitter.

Spacers having a Young's modulus of less than 2 GPa are mounted on both end sides of the second piezoelectric vibrating plate to prevent contact between the vibrating plates, thus preventing damage. Other spacers are mounted on the main surface of the enclosure in positions corresponding to the first-mentioned spacers to prevent contact with the main surface of the enclosure, thus preventing damage to the second piezoelectric vibrating plate.

Radio frequency filter using intermediate frequency impedance translation

The present invention is an RF filter that translates impedances of an IF circuit to create a filter with an RF center frequency having the high Q roll-off characteristics of an IF filter. The RF filter is self-aligned with the frequency of an RF local oscillator. The RF filter has an impedance divider, which is formed by coupling an RF impedance circuit to a translated IF impedance circuit. The translated IF impedance circuit includes an RF passive mixer and an IF impedance circuit. The mixer translates the impedance of the IF impedance circuit by mixing an RF input signal with an RF local oscillator signal, which determines the RF center frequency. Filtered RF signals may be provided by the impedance divider. Filtered IF signals may be provided by the IF impedance circuit. To effectively translate and preserve the IF impedance characteristics, the IF impedance circuit presents a high impedance at harmonics of the RF local oscillator signal.

A data recording system, such as a magnetic recording hard disk drive, has a recording medium in which the data tracks have pseudo-random binary sequences for the servo information used to control the position of the recording head. A first pseudo-random binary sequence (PRBS) and a second PRBS identical to the first PRBS but shifted by a portion of the period of the first PRBS are located between the track boundaries in alternating tracks in a first region of the servo pattern and between the track centers in alternating tracks in a second region spaced along the track from said first region. A servo decoder has two correlators, one for each PRBS. Each correlator outputs a dipulse when its PRBS repeats. The difference in amplitude of the dipulses represents the head position signal. The dipulses also control the amplifier for the signal read back by the head and the timing of the track identification (TID) detector.
