Method, system and device for proactive content customization

A method, system and server for providing customized multimedia services to a user by calculating the engagement level for the user based on detected events. Said events can be generated as a result of user activity in a first user device (for example a TV) or in other user devices (for example, a laptop, an smart phone). The proposed solution is adaptable, configurable and reacts on real-time to current user attitude.

Enhanced lubrication system for drive axle assemblies

ActiveUS20060063633A1Reduce churning lossLowering dynamic lubricant levelGearboxesDrip or splash lubricationTransaxleLubrication
An improved lubrication system for drive axle assemblies is provided that uses a collector in connection with a filter plug to lower the dynamic lubricant level in the drive axle assembly and filter contaminants in the lubricant sump. The collector is affixed to a cover plate attached to the drive axle housing and defines a well and a flow passage proximate the bottom of the well. The flow passage is aligned with an opening through which lubricant is inserted into the housing. A plug with a filter is inserted through the opening in the cover plate and into the flow passage. The invention reduces churning losses by lowering the dynamic lubricant level in the axle assembly without having a negative impact on lubricant life.

Hardball weapon

ActiveUS20090235911A1Simple constructionEasy to service and repairCompressed gas gunsOverpressurePiston
A hardball weapon for use in exercises or shooting games and designed as military gun is made with a weapon housing (3) containing two coaxial pistons (21, 26) which are mounted directly in the weapon housing (3) and driven by an electric motor (10) via a gear wheel mechanism (12, 18) and toothed racks (24, 25). The first outer piston (21) functions as a movable bolt for loading the cartridge chamber with cartridges (7) with solid balls (6), and the other piston (26) functions as a pressurised air piston for creating an overpressure for firing the balls (6). The weapon housing (3) can be opened by pivoting, thereby giving access to the parts in the firing mechanism for inspection, repair and adjustment.

Multi-force actuator valve with multiple operating modes

A multi-force actuator valve invention including a radially polarized permanent magnet, a pair of associated electromagnetic coils, a movable magnetically operated armature member, a valve located to be actuated by movement of the armature member, and mechanical force exerting means located and positioned to exert a force on the movable magnetically operated armature member. The multi-force actuator valve invention has electrical current control input means for supplying and controlling electrical current to the electromagnetic coils for controlling the movable magnetically operated armature member. The electrical current control input means for supplying and controlling electrical current to the electromagnetic coils for controlling the movable magnetically operated armature member has a plurality of types of controls that allow the multi-force actuator valve invention to operate or function as a plurality of types of valves such as a latching valve or a modulating valve. The electrical current control input means also has switching means for switching between the plurality of types of controls for permitting the multi-force actuator valve invention to be switched from one type of valve to another. In the preferred embodiments the electrical current control input means includes an H-bridge circuit and a modulating circuit.

Spring element

A spring element with a hydropneumatic strut are positioned between the bogie and the body of a rail car, with the strut having a sliding piston in a cylinder, whereby the piston or the cylinder can be connected with the bogie and the other component can be connected with the body, and the piston area of the cylinder is connected with a hydraulic accumulator. A strut that is easy to service and maintain and does not accumulate any appreciable amount of dirt is created by virtue of the fact that the hydropneumatic strut has a hydraulic height regulator valve or a height sensor connected or connectable with a feedback loop, whereby the position of the piston in the cylinder can be adjusted or determined.

A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and / or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and / or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions / sections with different physical and / or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. The lacrosse pocket body can include one or more fused pocket areas. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.
