The “first apparatus” disclosed is an ergonomic, removably-attachable biometric user authentication module, attachable onto a wristwatch band (or other surface) directly proximate to a user. A fused filament fabrication printer uses a plurality of fixed printing heads mounted to a structure over a build platform on which the model is built by constructing each layer of the model as the build platform is indexed through a multiplicity of successive print planes. The build platform may be in the form of a circular disk mounted for rotation about a z-axis and for linear motion along the z-axis between successive print planes, and for linear motion along a y-axis which is a selected radial direction perpendicular to the z-axis. Because the printheads are fixed, multiple printheads are easily affixed with respect to the build platform along the same radial line defining the y-axis transverse to the selected radial direction along which the build platform moves.

Indwelling urinary catheter

An indwelling urinary catheter having a simple structure that can discharge urine easily is disclosed. The indwelling urinary catheter comprises a body that includes an inserted part to be inserted into the bladder, and a non-inserted part that is formed in one body with the inserted part and positioned outside of the bladder, a discharging tube installed inside of the body for discharging the urine, the first fixing member formed inside of the inserted part, and an expander one end of which is fixed to the first fixing member. Typical problems associated with the conventional balloon-shaped fixing member are resolved because the indwelling urinary catheter is fixed in a desirable position by an expanding a part of the body. Also, because the indwelling urinary catheter of the present invention needs no additional fixing devices such as the balloon-shaped fixing device but instead can be fixed by the expander, it has a simple structure and enlarged inner diameter of the discharging tube. Thus urine is discharged from the bladder effectively. Moreover, the indwelling urinary catheter has a long life and can be manufactured economically and quickly due to the simple and effective structure.

The present invention is directed toward a bottle handle that is separately formed and subsequently affixed to the neck of a bottle by threading, or snap fitting the handle onto the bottle neck, or by securing thereto during a blow mold operation of the bottle. The label may be able to mask the resin shaped article, or may be colored with a coloring agent. A shaped composite article (e.g., a toner cartridge) may be formed by bonding the label to the resin shaped article with use of the laser welding. The present invention provides the resin label which is affixable to the resin shaped article in an easy and simple way, without an adhesive.

A firestopping apparatus for providing a fire barrier in a construction barrier. The apparatus is comprised of a sleeve within which there are located intumescent pads that are oriented to form a confinement area therebetween to accommodate various penetrating members such as cables, conduits and the like that need to pass through the barrier. Upon sensing the heat from a fire, the intumescent pads seal around the penetrating members to prevent the fire from passing through the barrier. One or both of the intumescent pads is movable toward or away from the other so that the confinement area can be adjusted in size, that is, the confinement area can be increased in size to accommodate a large number of penetrating members of decreased to accommodate a lesser number. One or both of the intumescent pads may be biased in the direction toward decreasing the size of the confinement area.
