Natural input recognition tool

A recognition tool according to various examples of the invention intelligently recognizes natural input before it is passed to a destination or target application. More particularly, the recognition tool according to various examples of the invention provides better formatting for text recognized from natural input, based upon the context in which the text is being inserted into a target application. The recognition tool also provides various tools for correcting inaccurately recognized text. The recognition tool may allow a user to select only a part of an inaccurate text, and then identify alternate text candidates based upon the selected portion of the inaccurate text. Further, when the user selects text containing multiple words for correction, the recognition tool provides cross combinations of alternate text candidates for the user's selection. Still further, if the user replaces inaccurate text by submitting a new natural input object, the recognition tool ensures that the text recognized from the new natural input object is different from the inaccurate text been replaced. The recognition tool additionally affects the recognition experience after recognized text has been provided to the target application. The recognition tool provides the target application with the original natural input object for the recognized text, along with the alternate text candidates for that original natural input object. Thus, the target application can use the alternate text candidates to correct inaccurately recognized text. Further, a user can insert the original natural input object for recognized text within the target application.

Multi-sensor information fusion-based collision and departure pre-warning device and method

The invention discloses a multi-sensor information fusion-based forward collision and lane departure pre-warning device, which comprises a millimeter-wave radar, a communication interface module, a video camera, an image acquisition module, a display module, a warning module and a vehicle-mounted processing unit, wherein the vehicle-mounted processing unit can perform fusion processing of radar signals and machine visual information from the communication interface module and the image acquisition module. The pre-warning device is used for warning of forward collision and lane departure of a vehicle, and a pre-warning method comprises the steps of: driving devices; receiving and processing radar data and image data; fusing information; and finally displaying the fused information. According to the multi-sensor information fusion-based forward collision and lane departure pre-warning device disclosed by the invention, potential risk of collision during running of the vehicle can be found through the radar and the video camera so as to provide warning information for a driver. According to the pre-warning method disclosed by the invention, since a method of visible sensation combined with the radar is adopted, the accuracy rate of prevention of collision and lane departure of the vehicle is fundamentally improved, and the degree of accuracy can be increased by 5-20 percent as proved by experiments.

Apparatus and method for connecting a conduit to a hollow vessel

The present invention provides a system and method for forming a side branch on a hollow vessel, such as the aorta. The side branch is preferably adapted to be connected to a connector conduit, but any other suitable use is also acceptable. The system comprises a graft including a side branch portion, and an applicator comprising a hole forming element adapted to form a hole in the wall of the vessel and an insertion element adapted to be inserted through the wall of the vessel, the insertion element comprising a retraction element adapted to enter into engagement with the graft. The hole forming element may comprise a cutting element adapted to cut a hole in the wall of the vessel, and a positioning element adapted to hold the position of the applicator relative to the vessel. The system further comprises a graft protection element adapted to prevent the graft from being damaged by the cutting element. In this case, the clamping element and the graft protection element may be the same element, for example, an expansion element, which may be expandable from an unexpanded state to fully expanded state and to a partially expanded state. The expansion element may be a balloon, which may be in the shape of a circular toroid, and may include a tension member that restricts the dimensions of the balloon. In addition, the expansion element may be an umbrella mechanism.

Method and Arrangement for SINR Feedback in MIMO Based Wireless Communication Systems

The present invention relates to a method and arrangement to enhance the communication performance in wireless communication systems. The method of the invention provides better adjustment of reported SINR in MIMO, and PARC-MIMO based communication systems. According to the method information relating to signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio is determined by the user equipment and reported to the base station. The base station adjust reported SINRs using a model of the SINR dependences of power and code allocation. The dependences is modeled by a function comprising a first parameter relating only to power allocation and a second parameter relating only to code allocation. The first parameter has a power allocation exponent and the second parameter has a code allocation exponent. Both the power allocation exponent and the code allocation exponent are data stream dependent.

Overhead power transmission line optimized line selection method based on airborne laser radar data

The invention discloses an optimal route selection method for overhead transmission line route. Onboard lidar equipment is adopted to acquire laser point cloud data and aerial digital photo data of the transmission line route corridor range; the onboard lidar data is processed after the wave filtering and the sorting of the laser point cloud data, and the points of the ground surface are made into a digital elevation model with high precision; then data processing is carried out by utilizing the data of the digital elevation model with high precision and ortho-rectification is carried out to the aerial photo by utilizing the internal and external orientation elements of the aerial digital photo to generate digital orthophoto maps; through the overlying of the digital elevation model and the digital orthophoto maps, the tridimensional visualization of the transmission line route corridor can be realized to optimize the transmission line route selection; finally prearrangement of power pole and power pole arrangement are carried out according to the data of plane cross sections. The route selection platform of the invention has simple operation and lifelike tridimensional scene, thus being convenient for full roaming and multi-view observation and greatly improving the efficiency of the inner plane cross section survey operation. Compared with the optimal route selection technology based on the aerial photographing measuring method, the efficiency of the inner plane cross section survey operation can be improved by about 75 percent.
