The invention discloses a fuse for protecting cells of a
battery pack of an electric car, and the fuse comprises a
busbar soldering lug, a pair of battery connection terminals which are located at left and right ides of the
busbar soldering lug and arranged symmetrically, and a fuse wire which connects the
busbar soldering lug with the battery connection terminals. Sides, which are connected with the fuse wire, of the busbar soldering lug the battery connection terminals are respectively provided with a plurality of longitudinally arranged sealing holes.
Plastic cement are placed in the sealing holes in an injection manner, and enables the busbar soldering lug, the fuse wire and the battery connection terminals to be packaged into one body in a
plastic packaging manner. The fuse wire is wrapped by the
plastic cement. The busbar soldering lug and the battery connection terminals are respectively provided with a plurality of busbar
welding points and battery
welding points for
welding. The fuse is disposed in a battery module of the electric car, and achieves the protection of each
cell in the battery module. When
overcurrent or a short-circuit fault happens to one
cell in the battery module, the fuse is
cut off, thereby protecting the battery module from being damaged, avoiding a driving fault, and guaranteeing the normal running of the electric car.
