The invention discloses a spliced photovoltaic module. The photovoltaic module comprises a
welding strip and a battery piece, wherein the
welding strip is divided into a middle section, head sectionsat two ends and a transition section located between the middle section and the head sections, thickness D1 of the head sections is greater than thickness D2 of the middle section, thickness of the transition section gradually changes from D1 to D2, the
welding strip is bent in a Z shape, a vertical section of the welding strip is located between
cut edges of every two adjacent battery pieces andattached to the
cut edges, the vertical section is a part of the middle section, a surface of one side of the head sections is attached to the surfaces of the battery pieces, and the portion, attachedto the
cut edges, of the vertical section is provided with an insulating
coating. The photovoltaic module is advantaged in that the structure of the welding strip is optimized, the welding strip andthe battery pieces are connected and optimized through the insulating
coating, soft contact between the welding strip and the battery pieces, welding between the welding strip and the battery pieces,complete
coating in the laminating process, insulation between the welding strip and the battery pieces, no
short circuit and good bonding performance between the insulation coating and the
copper welding strip are achieved, and thereby a piece gap between the battery pieces is infinitely close to zero, and higher CTM is achieved.
