Power-feeding device and induction heating device

A converter (311) converts an AC voltage value (e) to the DC electric power of a DC voltage value corresponding to a set input. An inverter (312) is controlled by a frequency electric power control circuit part (330) to convert the DC electric power to a dual frequency AC electric power for alternately outputting low and high frequencies at a frequency ratio (duty) corresponding to the set input. A matching transformer (321) having a tap (321C) at which the resonance impedance corresponds to the output impedance of an oscillator circuit part (310) receives the dual frequency AC electric power. A low frequency series resonance circuit (325) or a high frequency series resonance circuit (326) is caused to provide a series resonance, thereby causing an induction heating coil (200) to induction heat an object (201) to be heated. In this way, the single oscillator circuit part (310) and the single induction heating coil (200) are used to effectively induction heat the object (201) by means of the dual frequency resonance.

Apparatus And Method Of Eliminating Settling Time Delays In A Radar System

A novel and useful system and method for eliminating settling time delays in a radar system. In one embodiment, a plurality of oscillators is provided with a single transmitter. In an alternative embodiment, a plurality of transmitters is provided, each with its own oscillator. In either case, more than a single oscillator is used, whereby startup or turn on transients associated with one oscillator are allowed to settle out while another oscillator is being used. The two or more oscillators switch off and / or alternate or rotate such that oscillator settling time between chirp transmissions from the radar is substantially or completely eliminated. In a radar system having two transmitters, when the chirp propagation time window for the first transmitter is complete, the first transmitter is disconnected from the receive channel and the second transmitter is connected to the antenna and receive channel without having to wait for the second transmitter to settle since it was allowed to settle beforehand.

Asynchronous positioning method based on single station dual frequency continuous wave radar

The invention belongs to the technical field of dual-frequency continuous wave radar positioning, and relates to an asynchronous positioning method based on single station dual frequency continuous wave radar. The method no longer transmits two continuous wave signals of different frequencies at the same time, but switches between three states to transmit two continuous wave singles of different frequencies, and the third state compensates for the phase disturbance caused by the target speed. Compared to the synchronous mode, this method has lower complexity and cost, and is suitable for mostcommercial products of short-range radars with a single oscillator structure. The simulation results show that the positioning accuracy of the method can reach the centimeter level.

Structure for Couple Noise Characterization Using a Single Oscillator

A design structure for a computer-aided design system for generating a functional design model of an integrated circuit design (having nets comprising wires) determines critical parameters for coupling noise between the wires of the nets and acceptable limits for the critical parameters. Further, methods herein include designing a ring oscillator to have stages, each of the stages measuring only one of the critical parameters. This ring oscillator is then included within an integrated circuit design and associated design structure. The embodiments herein produce an integrated circuit according to this integrated circuit design and operate the ring oscillator within the integrated circuit to measure the critical parameters of the integrated circuit and produce test results. These test results are output to determine whether the test results are within the acceptable limits.

Multi-Stage Sub-THz Frequency Generator Incorporating Injection Locking

A novel and useful mm-wave frequency generation system is disclosed that takes advantage of injection locking techniques to generate an output oscillator signal with improved phase noise (PN) performance and power efficiency. Low frequency and high frequency DCOs as well as a pulse generator make up the oscillator system. A fundamental low frequency (e.g., 30 GHz) signal and its sufficiently strong higher (e.g., fifth) harmonic (e.g., 150 GHz) are generated simultaneously in a single oscillator system. The second high frequency DCO having normally poor phase noise is injected locked to the first low frequency DCO having good phase noise. Due to injection locking, the high frequency output signal generated by the second DCO exhibits good phase noise since the phase noise of the second DCO tracks that of the first DCO.

Frequency offset correction in transmitters having non-ideal synthesizer channel spacing

In a receiver of a transmission system in which the data transmission rate is not an integer multiple of the spacing between transmission channels, a single oscillator is used to generate both the system clock used to process the data signal as well as the mixing signal used to downconvert the received RF signal to an intermediate frequency (IF). The frequency error in the IF signal that results from mixing the RF signal at a less-than-ideal mixing frequency is compensated by selecting an appropriate mixing signal frequency applied when downconverting the IF signal to baseband. In a transmitter, the mixing signal frequency used to upconvert the outgoing baseband signal to IF is selected to pre-compensate for the frequency error resulting from upconverting the IF signal to RF using a less-than-ideal mixing frequency. In either case, the receiver / transmitter can be implemented without having to provide a dedicated reference oscillator for converting signals between RF and IF.
