Block chain data comparison and consensus method

ActiveCN105719185AWill not limit performanceNo capacity constraintsFinanceFinancial transactionFile comparison
The invention discloses a block chain data comparison and consensus method used for hash value calculation of content of each transaction. By changing the random numbers, the numbers of some bits of the hash values are set not to be repeated in a time period, and can be called as unrepeated serial numbers. Accounting servers are used to compare the numbers of the preset bits of the hash values to determine whether the transactions are identical or not. The unrepeated serial number comparison can be carried out in a way of establishing the Merkle-like tree, and because the numbers of the preset bits of the hash values of the transactions are not repeated, and can be used as the serial numbers, and can be disposed in the Merkle-like tree according to the certain rule, and therefore for different accounting servers, the positions of the hash values of the same transaction on the Merkle trees are totally identical, and the differences can be found out quickly, the data transfer amount can be reduced, and the time required by the consensus can be greatly accelerated.

System and method for transparent takeover of TCP connections between servers

A system and a method for transparent takeover (or failover) of a remote client TCP connection from a first server in a cluster of interconnected servers to a second server provides the storing of shared state information relative to the connection on each involved server and using of the shared state information to reestablish the connection on the second server. A message using a sequence number to refer to a previously transmitted data element (such as a byte) is sent by the second server and a received client acknowledgement (ACK) of that sequence number, or a higher one, is used to synchronize the server's data packet transmission sequence number with the ACK-transmitted sequence number. If synchronization is successful, then the connection is restarted on the second server from the point of termination / failure on the first server.

Image enabled reject repair for check processing capture

A method and apparatus for processing a plurality of financial documents, comprising, a document processor, wherein, for each financial document, the document processor captures data encoded on the financial document and an image of the financial document during a prime pass, and assigns a prime pass sequence number to each financial document. The apparatus includes a computer database in which the prime pass data and image is stored in association with the prime pass sequence number for the financial document. The document processor is adapted to determine whether the financial document should be rejected because the data and document image needs to be repaired or the data only needs to be repaired. If the data and image needs to be repaired, the document processor, or a desktop scanner / reader, recaptures the data and image, assigns a recapture sequence number to the financial document, and the recaptured data and image is stored in the computer database in association with the recapture sequence number. An image repair application is adapted to permit an operator to locate a prime pass image that matches the recaptured image, and to repair the document image by visually comparing the recaptured image with the prime pass image. The repaired document image is then stored in the computer database in association with the corresponding prime pass sequence number.

System and method for detecting cheque fraud

A system and method for detecting cheque fraud includes a cheque scanning module and a detection module. The cheque scanning module scans cheques and matches the encoded Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) data (i.e. serial number, Customer Account Number and amount) from the scanned digital electronic images with items in an issuance database which contains client provided cheque particulars. The detection module passes the cheque images through an optical character recognition (OCR) process to read what is written on the cheque and to match results against the issuance database. If the written information on the face of a cheque is unreadable or there is no match with the information in the issuance database, the detection module passes the cheque through a series of slower more precise OCR processes. Any cheques that are not successfully read and matched are highlighted as an “exception” and immediately forwarded to the client for further action.

Watermarking with random zero-mean patches for printer tracking

A steganographic method embeds hidden information like digital watermarks and digital fingerprints into an image by applying one or more zero-mean patches to a digital signal that conveys the image. Each zero-mean patch comprises elements having an average value substantially equal to zero. A printer tracking system is implemented by selecting a plurality of zero-mean patches according to a string of bits representing a printer serial number, and modifying printer control signals to embed the plurality of patches in each of a number of virtual cells within the image to be printed. The offset of the virtual cells with respect to the boundaries of the image and the location of the patches within each virtual cell are established in pseudo-random fashion. The printer tracking system further includes a technique for subsequently detecting the printer serial number by scanning the printed image and running a detection algorithm on the scanned data to recover the string of bits embedded in the zero-mean patches.
