Text joins for data cleansing and integration in a relational database management system

An organization's data records are often noisy: because of transcription errors, incomplete information, and lack of standard formats for textual data. A fundamental task during data cleansing and integration is matching strings—perhaps across multiple relations—that refer to the same entity (e.g., organization name or address). Furthermore, it is desirable to perform this matching within an RDBMS, which is where the data is likely to reside. In this paper, We adapt the widely used and established cosine similarity metric from the information retrieval field to the relational database context in order to identify potential string matches across relations. We then use this similarity metric to characterize this key aspect of data cleansing and integration as a join between relations on textual attributes, where the similarity of matches exceeds a specified threshold. Computing an exact answer to the text join can be expensive. For query processing efficiency, we propose an approximate, sampling-based approach to the join problem that can be easily and efficiently executed in a standard, unmodified RDBMS. Therefore the present invention includes a system for string matching across multiple relations in a relational database management system comprising generating a set of strings from a set of characters, decomposing each string into a subset of tokens, establishing at least two relations within the strings, establishing a similarity threshold for the relations, sampling the at least two relations, correlating the relations for the similarity threshold and returning all of the tokens which meet the criteria of the similarity threshold.

The antenna comprises a radiation source and a meta-material panel which has an electromagnetic wave gathering function and works at a first wavelength, wherein the meta-material panel is used for converting electromagnetic waves emitted by the radiation source into planar waves and running the antenna at a second wavelength and a third wavelength which are smaller than the first wavelength and are in different multiple relations with the first wavelength simultaneously. The invention further provides a method for generating a working wavelength of the meta-material panel of the antenna. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring a numerical valuem3 / m2 of the ratio lambda3 / lambda2 of the third wavelength lambda3 to the second lambda2 in a preset error range; computing a minimum common multiple m1 of m2 and m3; and generating a working wavelength lambda1 of the meta-material panel, wherein lambda1=lambda2 (m1 / m2) or lambda1=lambda3 (m1 / m3). The working wavelength of the meta-material panel is designed, so that the antenna can work at different wavelengths simultaneously; and the electromagnetic waves of the radiation source are converted into planar waves, so that gathering performance is enhanced, and the volume and size of the antenna are reduced.

Digital-type electric-control gas adjusting valve

A digital-type electric-control gas adjusting valve is composed of a base, electromagnetic valves and valve cores. The base is provided with an air incoming passage, an air outgoing passage, an air inlet and an air outlet, a normally-open through hole is communicated with a group of controlled through holes between the air incoming passage and the air outgoing passage, one valve core with small holes is disposed in each of the normally-open through hole and the controlled through holes, and each controlled through hole is controlled by one electromagnetic valve correspondingly. Cross section areas of the small holes of the valve cores in the controlled through holes are different, and relation of the cross section areas is multiple relation. Total open area from the air inlet to the air outlet is related to number and position of the electromagnetic valves which are opened, and the total open area abides by 8421yd. The digital-type electric-control gas adjusting valve is simple in structure and high in reliability, and can be controlled by a single chip microcomputer quite conveniently to form an intelligent constant-temperature control device so as to realize effects of energy conservation and emission reduction.
