In the middle of the coolant circulation path is a cooling unit that cools the coolant by radiating its heat to the outside air. Furthermore, a bypass route parallel to the server modules and going around the server modules is provided in the coolant circulation path, and the circulation quantity of the coolant is controlled in the bypass route. An engaging force is applied to the two heat exchangers to create thermal communication there between. The flow of the cooling working medium can be adjusted according to different requirements of battery temperature control; the using amount of a metal is reduced by adding the phase change material on the premise of ensuring the battery radiating effect, so that the cost of a battery radiating device is reduced effectively; and the requirements of different power batteries are met.

Liquid cooling system

Liquid cooling systems and apparatus and data processing systems and communication systems with liquid cooling systems are presented. A number of embodiments are presented. In each embodiment a plurality of heat transfer systems capable of engaging a plurality heat generating components and each such heat transfer system adapted to transfer heat from the heat generating components is implemented. Each of the heat transfer systems is in liquid communication with a heat exchange system that receives heated liquid from the heat transfer systems and returns cooled liquid to the heat transfer systems. The liquid communication from / to the heat exchange system and the heat transfer systems is in parallel, in series or a combination of parallel and series. Another embodiment disclosed is for data processing systems and communication systems having rack mounted sub-assemblies which can be inserted into or retracted from a rack or other holding device (and even while the data processing system or the communication system is operating) wherein the liquid communication to the heat transfer systems on a sub-assembly may be switched on or off. Another embodiment is disclosed for the cost effective and noise-muffling deployment of fans in a liquid cooling system having more than one heat exchange system therein.

A plasma spray apparatus in the form of a gun is utilized to apply an antifoulant coating to marine vessels. The apparatus includes a plasma generator, an electrophoresis element, a heating element, a shield gas element, a liquid cooling system, a forced air system, and a vacuum system. The plasma generator ionizes gas to create a plasma stream, which is utilized in part to supply energy to the heating element that heats a powder material. The heated powder material is exposed to the electrophoresis element to create a covalently bonded coating material. The coating material is injected into the plasma stream and is applied to a target surface. The shield gas element injects a gas flow to surround and protect the plasma and coating material stream as the stream is in flight to the target surface. The liquid cooling system cools portions of the plasma generator and heating element. The forced air system cools a portion of the target surface as the coating material is being applied. The vacuum system removes fumes and stray particles during the application process.

The first component is a heat transfer unit capable of engaging a processor and adapted to transfer heat from the processor to a liquid thereby generating heated liquid. The second component is a heat exchange unit capable of cooling the liquid transported from the heat transfer unit. The heat exchange unit includes an input cavity for receiving the heated liquid, a heat dissipater for dissipating heat from the heated liquid thereby producing cooled liquid, and an output cavity for outputting the cooled liquid back to the heat transfer unit. In one embodiment, the heat exchange unit includes a pumping system for pumping the liquid from the heat exchange unit through the conduit to the heat transfer unit and back.

Or, alternatively, it may be connected with a heat radiation fin 300.
