The device and the method provided by the invention have the advantages that the under-actuated principle is applied, the effects of tightly clamping the fruits at first and then realizing the torsion fruit separation are realized, the control of the whole work process is simple, the efficiency is high, meanwhile, the clamping force of the claws on the fruits can be preferably controlled, and the fruit damage phenomenon is avoided.
