The high-viscosity substance pump comprises a container, an air inlet pipeline and a material taking device; an opening of the container is connected with a feed opening of the material taking device; one end of the air inlet pipeline extends into the tail end of the container; the air inlet pipeline is used for sending high-pressure gas into the container so as to form negative pressure inside and outside the container; and the material taking device is used for extracting a couplant in the container. The control system comprises a switch, a driving motor, a controller, a monitoring unit and a high-pressure air pump, wherein the monitoring unitis used for timing according to a given time when the switch is opened. When timing is started, the controller controls the driving motor and the high-pressure air pump to operate, the motor is drivento drive the material taking device to work while air is pressurized into the container, and the couplant is taken out from a discharging opening of the material pump under action of the high-pressure air pump and the material taking device. The monitoring unit is further used for breaking connection between the controller and the switch when timing is carried out to a given time, and then the monitoring unit waits for a next working circle. The system provided by the invention can be used to extract the couplant quantitatively, uniformly and smoothly.
