Apparatus and method for space-division multiplexing optical coherence tomography

A space-division multiplexing optical coherence tomography apparatus and system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a light source, a reference arm, and a sample arm. The sample arm splits the sampling light into a plurality of sampling beams which may be scanned simultaneously onto a surface of a sample. An optical delay may be introduced into the sampling beams before scanning. A plurality of reflected light signals returned from the sample is collected. In one arrangement, the signals may be combined to produce a single reflected light signal. The reflected light signal(s) and a reference signal are combined to produce an interference signal comprising data representative of digitized images captured of the actual object. In one embodiment, a single sample arm may be used for scanning and collecting image data. A related method is also provided.

A three-dimensional display for the viewer to watch through glasses is provided, wherein the glasses have two lenses and the polarized directions thereof are perpendicular to each other. The three-dimensional display includes a display panel and a liquid crystal phase modulator. The display panel, suitable for displaying an image, has a plurality of pixels arranged in array and a polarizer having a transmission axis, wherein the polarizer disposed between the pixels and the glasses. The liquid crystal phase modulator suitable for providing phase retardation includes a liquid crystal layer and an alignment layer adjacent to the display panel. An included angle between an alignment direction of the alignment layer and the transmission axis is substantially equal to n×45 degrees, wherein an absolute value of n is an integer. The liquid crystal phase modulator adjusts a phase of the image and then outputs an image with three-dimensional information.

The G-R removes gas from the vacuum package and is reflective in the frequency band of the FPA. Sensor pixels are supported about a quarter-wavelength above the G-R which is within the perimeter of the imaging array. The package is evacuated through a single aperture, and vacuum is maintained for the lifetime of the FPA. Imaging sensor size is reduced while maintaining resolution by reducing non-imaging area.

The present disclosure provides an audio quantization coding and decoding device and a method thereof. In the method, before a quantization coding process is performed on a digital signal, the signal is pre-processed, the digital signal is split into multiple frames based on positive and negative half periods of the signal, and all audio data between two adjacent zero-crossing points belongs to the same positive and negative half periods, so as to have the same sign-bit. A pre-processing module groups the numeric data belonging to the same positive and negative half periods into the same frame. When coding, an audio quantization coding module only needs to record a sign-bit of the frame at a head of the frame, so the sign-bit of each batch of voice data in the frame may be omitted to reduce a data amount or improve a resolution of each batch of voice data.
