The combination of FDMA and TFC's provides a simplified interface between the MAC and PHY.

Thereafter, an alignment layer is applied to the wafer, and a covering glass, which is of similar size and configuration, is provided in order to cover the entire active area of the wafer. Thereafter, the sealant is dispensed in the sealant region outside of the spacer wall extending about the liquid crystal areas, which may contain discrete spacer balls or posts, and thereafter lamination implemented under a vacuum, and the sealant is cured.

Travel pillow

A travel pillow for supporting the head of a person when seated comprises a generally U-shaped frame having two side members and a rear member, and a padded generally U-shaped cushion fixed with the frame. In one embodiment, the pillow includes a plurality of cushions each fixed along the frame. The frame and cushion may include a plurality of mutually-aligned ventilation apertures therethrough to cool the person's neck and head. The frame may include a plurality of connectable, size-adjustable, or hinged segments for allowing the pillow to be collapsed for storage or transport. Each side portion, and optionally the rear portions, includes at least one transverse air apertures therethrough. Each side portion of the inner frame further includes a forward end. The side portions may each include a drawstring aperture at the forward end for receiving a drawstring having two halves, each of which being fixed at a proximal end thereof at the drawstring apertures and being mutually and selectively fixable at distal ends thereof at one part of a two-part mechanical fastener. A flexible cover that has an opening therethrough into which the inner frame and the outer cushion are inserted may be included that has at least one ventilation area through which air may travel.

The torsion beam type rear suspension of the present invention can improve the supporting rigidity of the spring seat relative to a coil spring without increasing the rigidities of the spring seat and trailing arm themselves, while allowing the risk of stress concentration occurring at an end of the torsion beam to be reduced, so as to achieve increased chassis rigidity and adequately maintain suspension functions.

An improved optical fiber design has been found to exhibit a relatively low attenuation at the wavelength of 1385 nm (the “water peak”), allowing for Raman amplification to be efficient and effective at wavelengths in the S-band range of 1460 to 1530 nm. An ultra-dry process is used to mate an inner core rod (core plus surrounding trench) with a cladding tube (ring region plus cladding layers) and provide a water peak loss on the order of 0.325 dB / km. The low water peak is combined with appropriate dispersion values and zero dispersion wavelength to form a fiber that supports transmission and Raman amplification in the S-, C- and L-bands of interest for optical transmission systems.
