1602 results about "Normal conditions" patented technology

Normal conditions are a restriction on philosophical arguments, especially in epistemology, in order to avoid objections perceived as digressive. As a reply to objections to an explanation of a phenomenon, e.g. a hypothesis or a theory, it is said, argument X holds [only] under normal conditions. In some cases, the concept of normal conditions tends to be rather blurred and the reply under normal conditions can tend to extend to everything that contradicts an argument. In cases, when the argument of normal conditions comes too often, according to the principle of Occam's Razor another explanation X' has to be found.

System and method for monitoring and indicating a condition of a filter element in a fluid delivery system

A filter condition sensing circuit includes current and voltage sensors and a data processor. The current and voltage sensors produce signals indicating magnitudes of electrical current and voltage, respectively, provided to an electric motor used to move a fluid (a gas or liquid) through a filter element. During a first time period, the data processor uses the signals to determine an acceptable range of electrical power required by the motor. During a second time period, the data processor uses the signals to determine a magnitude of electrical power required by the motor. When the magnitude of electrical power is within the acceptable range of electrical power, the data processor generates a signal indicating a normal condition of the filter element. A described filter condition indicating system includes the circuit. A method is for determining a condition of a filter element.

Order-driven Single-piece small-batch combined flow production method for processing workshop

The invention provides an order-driven single-piece small-batch combined flow production method for a processing workshop, which has high intellectualization degree and strong practicability. In the method, a manufacturing system of the processing workshop is divided into a planning module, a scheduling module, a system database, an upper RFID reader-writer and an equipment control layer, wherein the planning control module, the scheduling module and an equipment control unit are all realized by Agent (intelligent agent) technology. All the parts of the manufacturing system are connected into a multi-Agent (intelligent agent) manufacturing system through a network and a communication protocol. Under normal conditions, the system carries out machining according to a preset operation working procedure through static scheduling; and when the system is abnormal, the system completes a processing task through dynamic scheduling. Accordingly, staff members can dynamically master production process information in real time. The production method can effectively improve processing efficiency and reduce production cost.

Method for discriminating between operating conditions in medical pump

A method is disclosed for determining the operating condition of a medical pump based on data derived from a pressure sensor and a position sensor. The pressure sensor generates pressure data by sensing the force on the pumping element. The position sensor generates position data by tracking the pumping cycle and determining the position of the pumping element. The pump pressure data and pump position data are processed and the calculated results compared with a pre-determined threshold value to determine the operating condition of the pump. The three main types of operating conditions of concern are the following: normal condition, where liquid is present and no leaks exist in pumping chamber; leak condition, where liquid is present but a leak exists in the pumping chamber; and air stroke condition, where the chamber contains some air.

Autonomous transport system

An autonomous transport system is disclosed, formed by four main subsystems: a channel subsystem; a vehicle subsystem; a wheel guide subsystem and central control station subsystem. The system is designed for the transportation of people or goods, to be used in tall buildings and in small and large scale urban environments. It comprises unitary vehicles that may move in different directions: horizontal, steeply sloped and also vertical tracks, thanks to novel traction wheel assemblies that roll on carefully designed wheel tracks. The system's cabin maintains the horizontal level / position regardless of the changes of track direction or slanting thanks to pendulum based automatic level control and may rotate up to 180° under normal conditions and even a full 360° turn respect to the wheel assembly in space restricted positions. The cabin is mounted on a cantilever, thereby displacing its center of gravity respect of the wheel guides. Thus, a lever action is established, which presses the wheels against the wheel tracks and therefore enough frictional resistance is obtained so as to avoid wheel slippage on the wheel tracks. The vehicles are moved by non-polluting, electric drives that move and stop them with high energy savings. The vehicle runways are designed taking in account safety features against fire hazards. Several vehicles may be used at the same time and on the same track and may run individually or in groups, conforming a train. The system allows for vehicles to be parked in bypassed positions or else they may be disengaged from the convoy to be used individually.

Method for automatically detecting lack of refrigerant in air-conditioner

The invention relates to an air-conditioner, in particular to a method for automatically detecting the lack of refrigerant in the air-conditioner. The invention discloses a method for automatically detecting the lack of refrigerant in the air-conditioner in order to solve the problems that the prior art can not automatically detect the fault of the lack of refrigerant or give an alarm to result in high maintenance cost and low maintenance efficiency. The automatic detecting method comprises the following steps of: detecting the difference between the indoor temperature and the temperature of an inner coiled tube, the difference between the outdoor temperature and the temperature of an outer coiled tube and the running current value of a compressor at real time after the air-conditioner runs; and compared with the normal conditions, judging whether the large deviation exists or not so as to judge whether the present refrigerant lacks or not. The invention has the advantages of automatically detecting the fault of the lack of refrigerant in the air-conditioner, immediately giving an alarm, reminding users of the associated maintenance, reducing the maintenance cost and improving the efficiency; and the invention is suitable for detecting whether the air-conditioner lacks of refrigerant or not.

Abnormal vibration analysis-based GIS (gas insulated switchgear) mechanical fault diagnosis method and system

The invention discloses an abnormal vibration analysis-based GIS (gas insulated switchgear) mechanical fault diagnosis method and system. The GIS (gas insulated switchgear) mechanical fault diagnosis method includes the following steps that: vibration signals on a GIS are acquired; de-noising processing is performed on the acquired signals through using a threshold de-noising method; various kinds of feature information contained in the signals are extracted by using a narrowband noise aided multivariate empirical mode decomposition (EMD) method; the power feature of the signals is extracted by using a power density function, and the maximal amplitudes of the power spectra of all IMF of each channel are calculated so as to form power feature matrixes under measured conditions; and a power feature matrix under a normal condition and/or power feature matrixes under various kinds of fault conditions which are obtained through tests are adopted as judgment criteria of faults. Compared with a traditional method, the method and system of the invention have no influence on the normal operation of a whole power system, and can monitor the running state of the GIS safely and reliably, and are suitable for being applied to GIS substations of various voltage levels.

Controlling method of 4 phase permanent magnet fault tolerant motor

The invention discloses a control method of a four-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor. In the method, a control mode can be automatically decided according to the diagnosed situation of a system failure; when the system is at a normal state, an SVPWM control is adopted; when the system has a phase-lacking failure, a fault-tolerant torque control is adopted; different fault-tolerant control proposals are adopted according to different types of phase-lacking failures. The control method realizes that the four-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor can operate with high performance under the normal condition and the phase-lacking condition, overcomes the deficiency that the stable performance of the system when in normal working is reduced in the traditional fault-tolerant control system which adopts current for regulating PWM for realizing current tracing for the convenience of fault-tolerant control, establishes a mathematical model of the four-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor under a rotating coordinate system, successfully applies an SVPWM strategy to the four-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor and enhances the dynamic and static performances and reliability of the control system of the four-phase permanent magnet fault-tolerant motor.
