The invention provides am ecological
restoration method for a
coal gangue dump. The method comprises the steps of arranging the
coal gangue dump into a gentle slope
terrain with an inclination angle of less than 35 degrees, covering the surface of the
coal gangue with
red soil, and covering the surface of the
coal gangue dump with soil for leveling to obtain an arranged
coal gangue dump; digging holes at fixed points according to the line spacing of 60 cm and the
plant spacing of 40 cm, soaking pigeon pea seeds for
germination acceleration, and
sowing the pigeon pea seeds soaked for
germination acceleration in each hole; or planting vetiver grass seedlings in each hole; soaking pigeon pea seeds for
germination acceleration, and planting the soaked and germinated pigeon pea seeds and vetiver grass seedlings at intervals according to holes; then applying
farmyard manure, conducting watering every week, and conducting
seedling-stage pest and
disease damage management, wherein 40%
carbendazim suspending agent is used for watering roots in the early stage of
seedling-stage morbidity to prevent and control
root rot,
legume borer adults lay eggs in the peak period, 5% chlorantraniliprolesuspending agent is used for preventing and controlling
legume borers, and 40%
omethoate emulsifiable concentrate is used for preventing and controlling vetiver aphids, so that ecological restorationof the
coal gangue dump is completed. The method is simple, high in
operability, low in cost, good in ecological restoration effect of the coal gangue dump and high in
greening coverage rate.
