The invention relates to the field of the
Bletilla striata breeding, and in particular to a method for sexually breeding
Bletilla striata seedlings on a large scale by simulating natural conditions. The method comprises the following steps of: building a
seedbed in a
greenhouse, wherein the cross section of the
seedbed is in a isosceles triangular shape, piling soils to form the
seedbed, compacting the seedbed, leveling the surface of the seedbed, and successively covering the seedbed with a
plastic film and geotechnical cloth; laying a
seedling culturing matrix and fine turfy, and compacting; arranging drainage ditches at two sides of the seedbed, and arranging a
water irrigation system on the upper portion of the seedbed;
sowing the
Bletilla striata seeds at two slopes of the seedbed, then spraying nutritional liquid, and covering the seedbed with a mulching film; and maintaining the
moisture of the seedbed during the culture process, spraying nutritional liquid, keeping the temperature at 40 DEG C or lower, until the
Bletilla striata seedlings are obtained. All procedures of the method from seeding to
seedling growing are completed on the seedbed in one step, so that the manpower cost is reduced, the whole
seedling culturing process is simplified, the whole cultivation process only needs about one year, the large-scale breeding of the
Bletilla striata under nonsterile conditions is realized, and the method is easy to popularize and use.
