Sub-pixel dimension movements between an object and the array of pixels are made, and an image is formed at each position. Resulting shifted images are combined to yield an effective resolution corresponding to an array having smaller pixels. Such methods and apparatus allow optical systems with existing pixel devices to form effective images of smaller feature sizes.

Address mapped repartitioned digital pixel

By adding stabilization and super-sampling to a digital pixel readout integrated circuit (ROIC), line of sight motion, that is usually costly and difficult to control, instead becomes an ally, doubling the effective FPA resolution in some systems. The base repartitioned digital pixel architecture supplements analog signal accumulation with off-pixel digital accumulation, greatly increasing dynamic range. Adding address mapping and increasing the ratio of memory locations to pixels, enables stabilization and resolution enhancement. Additional stabilization at sub-frame intervals limits the effect of latency and simplifies complex address mapping. Pixels gains are compensated in-ROIC, without requiring multipliers. A unique partitioning of functions between the ROIC and subsequent logic allows pixel biases and non-isomorphic sampling effects to be compensated off-ROIC, reducing overall system complexity and power.

Low-cost and noise-insensitive motion detector

A microcontroller has a compact 8-bit processor and a differential input sigma-delta ADC (SDADC). In a low-cost pyroelectric sensor motion detector application, a sensor output signal is supplied onto a second differential input of the SDADC. A first programmable internal reference voltage source supplies VREF1 via an internal signal path onto a first differential input of the SDADC. A second programmable internal reference voltage source supplies VREF2 onto a reference voltage input of the SDADC. VREF1 sets the center of the SDADC input sample window, thereby avoiding the need to provide an external AC blocking capacitor. VREF2 sets the size of the window. Proper window sizing and sample averaging and the high-resolution SDADC obviate the need for input signal amplification. Throughput requirements on the 8-bit processor are reduced by providing a hardware averager and associated DMA controller, thereby making the overall solution a low-cost, noise-insensitive, solution.

The invention relates to a method for speech emotion recognition by utilizing emotion perception spectrum characteristics. Firstly, a pre-emphasis method is used to perform high-frequency enhancementon an input speech signal, and then, the signal is converted into frequency field by using fast Fourier transform to obtain a speech frequency signal; the speech frequency signal is divided into a plurality of sub-bands by using an emotion perception sub-band dividing method; emotion perception spectrum characteristic calculation is carried out on each sub-band, wherein the spectrum characteristics comprises an emotion entropy characteristic, an emotional spectrum harmonic inclination degree and an emotional spectrum harmonic flatness; global statistical characteristic calculation is carried out on the spectrum characteristics to obtain a global emotion perception spectrum characteristic vector; finally, the emotion perceptual spectrum characteristic vector is input to an SVM classifier toobtain the emotion category of the speech signal. According to the speech psychoacoustic model principle, the perceptual sub-band dividing method is used to accurately describe the emotion state information, and emotion recognition is carried out through the sub-band spectrum characteristics, and the recognition rate is improved by 10.4% compared with prior MFCC characteristics.

The light valve type stereo display structure mainly comprises a backlight unit (1), a light valve system (2), a color filtering layer (3) and a lens layer (4). A backlight system is composed of a luminous device and a control circuit and used for generating a plane light source of which the color and brightness are adjustable in certain range of a space domain and a time domain. The backlight system, the light valve system and the lens array coordinate to work and are used for two-dimensional or three-dimensional image or video display.

A Method for Speech Emotion Recognition Using Emotion Perceptual Spectrum Features

The invention relates to a method for speech emotion recognition using emotion perception spectrum features.
