A builder risk assessment system that assesses the quality of a builder's operations is disclosed. In various embodiments, the system assesses the builder on a variety of quality measures that are deemed to be associated with potential risk and determines an overall risk assessment for the builder that may be expressed, for example, as a numerical score, a grade, or an assigned tier-level. In various embodiments, the assessment considers factors such as design quality, builder knowledge, communications systems, customer service, data tracking, prior and active claims, safety programs, and legal / contractual / insurance issues. The builder risk assessment system may use responses to questions related to the factors and results from field inspections of the builder's construction sites to generate the risk assessment. The builder risk assessment system may select the questions and inspection checkpoints based on a consideration of characteristics of the builder's operations, such as size, type, and geographical location of the builder's construction projects so that the assessment may be customized and may be used to meaningfully compare the builder's quality and risk relative to that of other builders.

A range-pattern-matching-type DRC-based process hotspot detection is provided that considers edge tolerances and incomplete specification (“don't care”) regions in foundry-provided hotspot patterns. First, all possible topological patterns are enumerated for the foundry-provided hotspot pattern. Next, critical topological features are extracted from each pattern topology and converted to critical design rules using Modified Transitive Closure Graphs (MTCGs). Third, the extracted critical design rules are arranged in an order that facilitates searching space reduction techniques, and then the DRC process is sequentially repeated on a user's entire layout pattern for each critical design rule in a first group, then searching space reduction is performed to generate a reduced layout pattern, and then DRC process is performed for all remaining critical design rules using the reduced layout pattern. Candidate locations are then identified using the DRC results, and then the true hotspot locations are confirmed using longest common subsequence and linear scan techniques.

An IP-based subscriber endpoint, for example a VoIP telephony device or an IP telephony user agent, is configured for retrieving recorded audio caller information in response to receiving an incoming call that includes a calling party identifier. The IP-based subscriber endpoint, in response to receiving the calling party identifier, generates an IP-based query via an IP network to an identifiable server for identification of a source of the recorded audio caller information corresponding to the calling party identifier. The IP-based subscriber endpoint outputs a request to the source of the recorded audio caller information, and plays the recorded audio caller information in response to reception via the IP-based network. Hence, the IP-based subscriber endpoint is able to retrieve existing recorded audio caller information from servers configured for storing recorded names, eliminating the necessity for text to speech resources.

Therefore, the pseudo-vibration fault mechanism caused by the axial vibration can be visually displayed. Meanwhile, the device provides the reference concept and the direct experience for the elimination of the above type of pseudo-vibration faults.
