The invention discloses a method for screening reference genes related to regulation and control of poplar stress resistance gene expression. The method comprises the following steps: selecting gene chips with serial numbers of GSE13990, GSE15242, gene chip GSE21171 and GSE23637, performing normalization processing on probes in the gene chips to obtain candidate reference genes, then performing function prediction by using InterproScan software, and selecting related genes for maintaining basic life functions of poplars as the reference genes. By virtue of the screening method, new reference genes beyond those reported in the prior art can be obtained, thereby enriching the selection of the reference genes of poplars, providing a way for screening more stable and ideal reference genes, having significant importance for the researches on the expression level of the poplar stress resistance genes and systematic researches on the stress resistance of the poplars, and having important guidance for further breeding plants with excellent stress resistance.
