Deployable Contour Crafting

A deployable crafting machine may include a vehicle and a gantry system. The gantry system may be configured to be collapsed on the vehicle during which the gantry system is inoperable and to be expanded during which the gantry system is operable and supported at least in part by the vehicle. A deployable crafting process may include moving a vehicle to a first location while a gantry system is stored on the vehicle in a collapsed and inoperable state and expanding the gantry system into an operable state after the vehicle arrives at the first location during which the gantry system is supported at least in part by the vehicle.

Vehicle mounted unmanned water cannon

An unmanned remotely controlled mobile vehicle mounted water cannon including, ground engaging drive means supporting a body, a nozzle mounted to a mounting arm extending from the forward end of the vehicle, the mounting arm being moveable relative to the body, means carried at the rear of the body for receiving fluid from a fluid supply and a pump to supply fluid through a conduit extending from the rear to the front of the vehicle; a power supply to supply power to the ground engaging drive means and a control means for receiving instructions from a remote controller. The ground engaging means moves the vehicle across a surface and the height of the body above the ground is less than the width and length of the vehicle. The mounting arm controls the direction of the nozzle by moving sections of the mounting arm and directing fluid projected there from, the mounting arm being structured to not rise above the height of the top of the vehicle. The control means controls the drive means and the nozzle direction in response to instructions received from the remote controller.

Aerial delivery system

A method and apparatus for aerial fire suppression utilizing a potable fire retardant chemical dispensing system, readily adaptable, without extensive aircraft modification, to various makes of aircraft, for dispensing current types of forest and range fire fighting chemicals. The aerial delivery system is self contained and reusable. It enables cargo / utility aircraft to carry and dump a load, under control. The aerial delivery system is capable of attachment at the wing box, pressurized delivery from the nozzles, and nozzles directed straight downward.

Firefighting fluid delivery system

A fire fighting fluid delivery system includes a fire fighting fluid delivery device, a pressure sensor, which senses fluid pressure at the fluid delivery device and generates a pressure signal indicative of the fluid pressure, and a wireless transmitter for transmitting the pressure signal. The fluid delivery system further includes a fire fighting fluid input device which is in fluid communication with the fluid delivery device and a wireless receiver that receives the pressure signal. In addition, the system includes a pressure gauge in communication with the receiver, which displays a pressure reading based on the pressure signal received by the receiver wherein a pump operator may selectively adjust the delivery of fluid to the fluid delivery device from the fluid input device based on the pressure reading displayed at the pressure gauge.

Remotely located cryocooler

A cryocooler is located on a spacecraft bus, such as a bus box, separate from the cryogenic propellant tanks disposed on a separable and distinct propellant cartridge system spacecraft docked to the spacecraft bus. In operation, propellant may be continuously pumped from the tanks through the cryocooler cold heat exchanger and then back to the tanks on the separable propellant cartridge system spacecraft through temporarily couplable lines. After the propellant tanks are depleted, the propellant cartridge system is then undocked from the bus and typically discarded. A new propellant cartridge system spacecraft comprising a full set of tanks may then be docked to the bus and the cryocooler supply / return lines coupled. The remote cryocooler may function as part of a larger space depot for spacecraft resupply, although it is not limited to such applications.
