The invention discloses a diversion device of a
vertical axis tidal generator, which relates to a diversion device of a
vertical axis tidal water turbine which generates power with the energy of the rivers or ocean currents with quite low
water flow speed. The device is technically characterized in that a main runner consists of the inlet of the diversion device, a contraction section, a middle runner, a divergent section and the outlet of the diversion device. The fluid is accelerated when flowing past the front sections of the contraction section and the middle runner; the flow speed from the
tail end of the middle runner to the outlet of the diversion device is reduced, so that the pressure is recovered. In this way, the liquid flows the
turbine with quite high flow speed, so as to improve the
utilization rate of the
water energy and recover stable flow status at the downstream of the
turbine. The device is also provided with an auxiliary runner, so that the circular arc-shaped low-pressure position of the of the inflow surface at the inlet of the diversion device is communicated with the opening at the
tail end of the middle runner; the structure can pump the fluid in the middle runner, expand the
pressure difference in front of and behind the turbine, promote the fluid to be further accelerated and improve the flow pattern of the fluid.
