The invention discloses a
sewage treatment system with a composite biological diatomite filter basin and a rural
sewage treatment method adopting the
system. The
system comprises the composite biological diatomite filter basin. The treatment method comprises the following steps: feeding
sewage into a front
oxygen deficient zone of the filter basin, and uniformly mixing the fed sewage with return
sludge through agitating; then feeding mixed liquid into a middle aerobic zone of the filter basin, blowing by a blower, supplying
oxygen by an aerator, agitating, adding composite diatomite to a water-in part of the zone, fully reacting, oxidizing COD into CO2 and water by the formed biological diatomite, oxidizing NH3-N(NH4+-N) into NO3- -N, and attaching other pollutants on or around the biological diatomite; finally feeding the mixed liquid into a rear
settling zone of the filter basin, forming a
sludge suspension layer through the control of a certain rising flow rate so as to realize
sludge and water separation, returning part of the settled biological diatomite to the
oxygen deficient zone of the filter basin in a sludge form, and
drying the rest sludge. The
sewage treatment system and the rural
sewage treatment method have the advantages of high treatment load,
short stay time, simplicity in operation and running, great
treatment effect and rapid
system recovery.
