The invention relates to a process for exploiting ocean gas hydrate by utilizing terrestrial heat, comprising the following steps: 1) digging a branch well on a target hot rock stratum; 2) utilizing a casing to penetrate through gas hydrate treasure, digging a directional well on the target hot rock stratum, perforating the casing penetrating through the gas hydrate treasure, and sealing the mouth of the well; 3) pressing seawater into the target hot rock stratum by utilizing a pump, pressing the seawater into the directional well after heat exchange heating, leading the seawater into the area of the gas hydrate treasure from the perforation of the casing, and obtaining decomposed gas hydrate and cooled seawater; and 4) transporting the gas hydrate and the cooled seawater to a sea surface by utilizing a gas-liquid recycling tube, separating the gas hydrate from the cooled seawater at an outlet, and collecting natural gas. The invention has the beneficial effect that the invention greatly reduces the heat injection cost in the exploration process, causes the exploration process to continuously develop and has less pollution and damage on environment, and each technical index in the exploration process can refer to the existing petroleum exploration process so as to lower difficulty for realizing the exploration process.

An enhanced-air conditioning system for tropical and sub-tropical island sea coast environments having access to deep ocean sea water. Sea water from depths of at least about 1200 feet, at a temperature of 47° F. or lower, is utilized as a source for circulating chilled water loops providing district wide air conditioning, in some instances with assistance from electrically driven chillers. The sea water is then further used to condense working fluid in a low temperature Organic Rankine Cycle or Kalina Cycle turbine generator, the heat source for which is the cooling jacket of a diesel engine generator, and also to condense working fluid in a steam driven Rankine Cycle turbine generator, the heat source for which is exhaust heat from the diesel engine. Alternate heat sources, if available, can be utilized. Additional electrical generation from these sources far exceeds the costs of pumping the sea water.

Marine water drop muffler

A water drop muffler for use in a marine exhaust system to silence exhaust noise while separating entrained water from exhaust gas using hydro-dynamic centrifugal separation principles enhanced by turbulent flow. A muffler housing has a top and a bottom, and defines an internal volume bounded by a generally vertically disposed cylindrical inner surface formed about a longitudinal axis. A generally tubular exhaust inlet is disposed in generally tangential relation with the cylindrical inner housing surface for receiving a mixture of exhaust gas and entrained cooling water. A variable geometry flow channel efficiently transitions the flow for discharge through a vertically elongate opening disposed along the length of the housing inner surface thereby creating vortex flow within the housing to maximize the generation of centrifugal forces. The vortex flow formed within the housing causes the relatively heavy water droplets and water vapor (i.e. steam) to be drawn away from the housing axis toward the cylindrical inner surface. In addition, turbulent boundary layer flow along the surfaces of the variable geometry flow forming channel and the other housing surfaces functions to more efficiently draw entrained water droplets and steam into contact with various surfaces within the housing thereby causing water to coalesce along the inner housing surfaces.

An operator is applied in a frequency domain to multiple source seismic data acquired in a marine survey, with multiple sources substantially horizontally collocated and at different depths, to generate an estimate of a primary source wavefield, the operator constructed to compensate for time delays between and for different depths of the primary and secondary sources. The primary source wavefield estimate is adaptively subtracted from the multiple source seismic data to generate secondary source wavefield estimates. Another operator is applied in the frequency domain to the secondary source wavefield estimates to generate another primary source wavefield estimate, the operator constructed to compensate for time delays between and for different depths of the primary and secondary sources. The primary and secondary source estimates are used, after further iterative refinements to remove noise, to generate upgoing and downgoing wavefield components of the multiple source seismic data.

Experimental device for ocean mud flat oil spilling

The invention relates to an experimental device for ocean mud flat oil spilling. The experimental device comprises a frame, wherein the frame is divided into an upper layer and a lower layer; a flat plate capable of reciprocating is arranged on a separation plate of each layer; a cuboid-shaped container is fixed on each flat plate; a motor is arranged on one side of the frame and is used for driving the flat plates to reciprocate through a crankshaft connecting rod device, so that the cuboid-shaped containers are driven to reciprocate to simulate wave motion. When the experimental device is used, the cuboid-shaped containers are fixed on the upper and lower flat plates through screws, sea sands and seawater are added for simulating sea beach according to an experimental requirement, and the frequency of the motor is set to form artificial waves. Oil is filled into the two containers to simulate mud flat oil spilling, bacterial liquid is filled into only one of the two containers, and a contrast experiment is performed. The experimental device has the advantages that the structure is simple; the adsorption rate and desorption rate of the mud flat oil spilling can be determined conveniently and quickly; a scientific basis is provided for oil spilling treatment through different methods.
