A training and/or evaluating device is provided particularly useful in performing laparoscopic procedures, radiological procedures, and precise surgeries that simulates the structure and dynamic motion of the corresponding anatomical structure on which the procedure takes place. The device includes an outer housing, which may be designed to mimic the body wall, in which one or more organs are located. Motion of the organ(s), as a result of respiration, pulmonary action, circulation, digestion and other factors present in a live body, is simulated in the device so as to provide accurate dynamic motion of the organs during a procedure.

Conductive elastomeric circuits are used in various simulated physiological structures such as tissues and organs, enabling feedback to be provided indicating whether a simulated task is being performed correctly. A medical training simulator includes contact-less sensors and corresponding detection objects, configured to enable sensor data collected during a training exercise to be used to evaluate the performance of the training exercise. The simulator includes a simulated anatomical structure, at least one contact-less sensor, and at least one detection object. During a training exercise, a spatial relationship between the contact-less sensor and the detection object produces data for evaluating performance of the training exercise. Either the contact-less sensor or the detection object is embedded in the simulated physiological structure, while the other is included in either a support for the simulated physiological structure, or as part of a tool used during the training exercise. Many types of contact-less sensors can be employed, including capacitance sensors, impedance sensors, inductive sensors, and magnetic sensors.

A medical training apparatus comprises a frame defining a work space simulating a body cavity and having an access opening to allow introduction of a medical instrument to the working space from externally of the working space. A sensor platform is rotationally mounted in the working space for rotating the platform to select angular positions for performing a series of simulated medical procedures. Three-dimensional (3D) images of operation appliances used by operation target objects and training personnel are acquired through a 3D image acquisition module, operation motion of the training personnel is captured in real time through a motion capture module, correction information and guidance information are output through a central processor, an AR or VR model comprising the 3D images acquired by the 3D image acquisition module, the guidance information and the correction information is established, and the training personnel obtains the status of the operation target objects and the operation appliances used by the operation target objects, the guidance information and the correction information in real time through an AR interaction module, such that medical training is enabled to be more realistic and vivid, the medical training period is shortened, and the medical training cost is decreased.

A liquid medication dispensing system comprised of an ampule configured to hold a pre-measured quantity of the selected medication and to dispense that quantity of medication through an opening in the ampule formed by a puncturing device. The ultrasound training mannequin (100) is a device that provides a realistic medical training device for use by medical personnel, especially those in the field of emergency medicine, to gain experience in applying and analyzing the results of common ultrasound examinations. The mannequin (100) comprises a life-size model of the male torso. The mannequin (100) has a simulated human skin (20) and tissue structure (22) made of a silicone. Internal organs, such as the lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, gall bladder, urinary bladder, and spleen are placed inside the model in their normal occurring relative positions. Heavier organs are modeled with a variable density silicone material to simulate the actual sonic density of these organs. The lungs are modeled with a variable density foam material to simulate the sonic density of actual lungs. The training-history-information storage unit stores history information about a training session that has been performed under a preset medical training scenario. The evaluation input unit inputs an evaluation result for either the training session or the history information stored in the training-history-information storage unit, with respect to a predetermined evaluation item for each predetermined matter. The operation unit performs an arithmetic operation on the evaluation result that has been input with the evaluation input unit. The training-evaluation-information storage unit stores the result of operation unit and the evaluation result in association with the history information.
