The invention provides a soil conditioner used for soil improvement. The soil conditioner is characterized by being formed by mixing master batch and raw materials in a mass ratio of (1-3) to 100, wherein the master batch consists of the following components in equivalent parts by weight: layered azurite, realgar, frankincense, corydalis tuber, carbon, compound of glauber-salt and liquorice, artificial cinnabar, radix glycyrrhizae, coptis chinensis, borneol, root bark of white mulberry, asarum, myrrh and peanuts; the raw materials are obtained by mixing the following components in percentage by mass: 15 percent of pumice, 10 percent of medical stones, 60 percent of lime stones, 10 percent of humic acid and 5 percent of soddy soil. According to the soil conditioner disclosed by the invention, in addition to directly supplementing mineral elements and carbon element, original mineral elements such as calcium element and the like in the soil are further activated. Meanwhile, the master batch consisting of the traditional Chinese medicines is added, so that nutrient substances in saline-alkali soil are richer. The soil conditioner adopts simple and easily available raw materials, is low in cost, good in effect and high in practicability.
