The invention relates to a rice-
carp symbiotic breeding method, which is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1) selection and treatment of a
paddy field: high ridges are built on the four sides of a
paddy field, inner ditches are dug between seedbeds, the ridges are provided with a water inlet and a water outlet, a fish gathering pond is arranged in the
paddy field, and sound
sonar fish driving devices are evenly arranged on the ridges; (2)
transplanting of rice seedlings and throwing of fish fries into the paddy field: base
fertilizer is applied to the paddy field, the paddy field is covered with a
thin layer of soil, quicklime is sprinkled for disinfection, and in a week after disinfection, the paddy field is irrigated from the water inlet, and rice seedlings are transplanted; and (3) prevention and control of rice diseases and pests and fish diseases: the sound
sonar fish driving devices on the ridges are opened, feed is thrown into the fish gathering pond, the water outlet is opened to ensure that all fish are driven into the fish gathering pond, and then,
pesticide is sprayed onto the rice seedlings or
medicine is used in the fish gathering pond. The beneficial effects are as follows: the rice-
carp symbiotic breeding method has the advantages of high
utilization rate of resources, reasonable planting,
pollution reduction and mutually beneficial coexistence; and different medicines are used for rice and fish and are used separately, and the yield and quality of rice and fish stocks are improved.
