The invention discloses a
ceramic post insulator detection method based on vibrational
acoustics. The method comprises the steps of designing a detection
system, wherein the detection
system comprises an excitation source, a
signal receiving device and a result analysis
system, the excitation source is a randomly vibrating
exciter, the
signal receiving device is used for recording and storing responses of an insulator to excitation, and the result analysis system is used for analyzing a
software package of detection results; fixing an insulating rod bolt head provided with a screw in a threaded hole of an instrument panel; moving an instrument closer to a bottom
flange of the insulator to be detected, making a probe perpendicular to the bottom face of the
flange as much as possible, and sustaining the
flange with great force till the instrument prompts 'test ends'; transmitting detection data to a PC through a dedicated data line, displaying a vibration power
spectral density assessment diagram of the
ceramic post insulator with dedicated
analysis software, and conducting analysis. By the adoption of the method, internal and external flaw conditions of a
ceramic part can be detected in detail in the presence of uninterruptable power.
