The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a trench with a rounded corner portion and a broadened opening. Anisotropic oxidation is carried out using a halogen oxidation method using dichloroethylene (DCE) to form an anisotropic oxide film such that the film thickness in a shoulder portion of the trench is thick and gradually decreases nearer the bottom, the anisotropic oxide film is removed, and the shoulder portion of the trench is preferentially backed off, thereby rounding the shoulder portion sufficiently to broaden the opening. Then, an insulating member is embedded in the trench. The rounded portion of the shoulder portion of the trench and vicinity thereof is used as a channel of a MOS transistor.

Further, where the body substrate of a display device is made of glass, the IC chip and the body substrate can have equal coefficients of thermal expansion, thus preventing the IC chips from peeling off and reducing the failure rate. Furthermore, the gate line driving IC applied to a display device can be arranged as an IC chip having a length approximately equal to the display area, therefore, mounting a plurality of IC chips as the gate driving IC is not required, thereby reducing the production cost. Still further, all gate lines can be extended in parallel from the IC chip so that no difference in the delay occurs among the gate lines and the size of frame of display device can reduced.

Methods, systems, and computer program products for a mobile device determining its location based on a location of a companion device are described. A mobile device can receive a request for determining a location of the mobile device from an application. The request can include an accuracy specification providing a lower limit on accuracy of the determined location. The mobile device can determine that the mobile device is incapable of achieving that accuracy. The mobile device can then submit a location request to a companion device that has paired with the mobile device. The companion device, upon receiving the location request, can determine a location of the companion device and provide the location of the companion device to the mobile device. The mobile device can then designate the location of the companion device as the location of the mobile device, and provide the location to the application.

The present invention relates to an energy conversion device using a liquid and, more specifically, to a method and a device for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy by applying an opposite phenomenon to an electrowetting phenomenon. The contact surface with liquid is being changed within a pair of electrodes, and the resulting change in the contact surface with liquid is being utilized for generating electrical energy. The device can be simplified and the manufacturing cost thereof is being reduced, furthermore it is effective in implementing an energy conversion device that is less faulty, by preventing channel blocking phenomenon and not requiring a lubricating layer or an electrode complicatedly patterned on a channel. Besides, it is advantageous in that a flexible device can be realized and a large area application is facilitated by simplifying the device structure.

Door lock apparatus

Provided is a door lock apparatus which is adopted in an electronic product to lock or release a door of the door lock apparatus. The door lock apparatus includes a rocker, a rocker supporting member, a door lock main body and a locking unit. The rocker rotates when the hook of the door enters or withdraws from the door lock apparatus, to be coupled with or separated away from the hook. A rocker hinge rod and a position fixing rode positioned in parallel to the rocker hinge rod are integrated into the rocker. The rocker supporting member is hinge-coupled with the rocker hinge rod to rotatably support the rocker, reciprocatingly moves in a direction in which the hook enters or withdraws when the rocker is rotated, and receives an elastic force from a first elastic member in the direction in which the hook enters. The door lock main body supports the reciprocating movement of the rocker supporting member, and includes position fixing holes to guide movement of the rocker while being coupled with the position fixing rod when the rocker rotates and to fix the rocker while the rocker is coupled with or separated from the hook. The locking unit locks the rocker while the rocker is coupled with the hook. Accordingly, the door lock apparatus has a simple, compact structure, which has fewer failures, ensures convenience in maintenance and repair and reduces the number of assembly steps.

Provided is a door lock apparatus which is adopted in an electronic product to lock or release a door of the door lock apparatus. The door lock apparatus includes a rocker, a rocker supporting member, a door lock main body and a locking unit. The rocker rotates when the hook of the door enters or withdraws from the door lock apparatus, to be coupled with or separated away from the hook. A rocker hinge rod and a position fixing rode positioned in parallel to the rocker hinge rod are integrated into the rocker.
