Manufacturing method of thin film transistor

The invention provides a manufacturing method of a circular thin film transistor of which shape is more controlled than the conventional case, while simplifying the steps and reducing the manufacturing time and cost by forming a circular thin film transistor by a maskless process such as a droplet discharge method. In the invention, a circular thin film transistor having a circular electrode is formed by stacking concentric circular thin films over a substrate by a maskless process such as a droplet discharge method. Moreover, a circular thin film transistor having a circular semiconductor layer may be formed by stacking concentric circular thin films over a substrate by a maskless process such as a droplet discharge method.

Device For Receiving Of Disposable Items For An Operating Room

A system for receiving of disposable items in an operating room, where the objects that are to be disposed of and which are equipped with a data carrier are automatically acquired and electronically registered in databases. The data carrier on the objects can be RFID tags or a barcode. The data read out are used in particular to individually recognize the type, quantity, and value of an object and to be able to document and display the type, quantity, and value of an object by using an electronic inventory and value determination process.

K-means clustering based data mining system and method using the same

A method of performing K-means clustering by a data mining system is provided. The method includes generating a plurality of initial buckets by dividing data including a plurality of points each being expressed in coordinate information, reflecting a count noise in a number of points included in each of the initial buckets and then generating a plurality of new buckets by dividing at least one initial bucket among the initial buckets based on a first threshold and a second threshold, generating a plurality of final buckets from the plurality of initial buckets or the plurality of new buckets, generating a histogram including section information for each of the final buckets and a number of points included in each of the final buckets in which the count noise is reflected, and performing K-means clustering on the histogram based on a number of clusters.

Client device, operating method, and recording medium

A touch input device that includes a touch panel stacked with a display or integrally disposed with a display, and a controller. During a state of the display displaying a designated image, upon detecting that a specific location in the image has been touched with the touch panel, the controller detects a velocity by which a touch position changes and a direction in which the touch position changes while the touch continues, and determines an input instruction.

Media packet structure for real time trasnmission via packet switched networks

The present invention proposes a media packet structure comprising an insensitive part (ISP) comprising a block of media data (BMD) and a sensitive part (SP), said sensitive part being protected by a checksum (CS), said sensitive part comprising error correction codes (FEC) for correcting the block of media data (BMD) contained in said insensitive part (ISP). With the invention, media packets with damages in their insensitive part are not rejected, but repaired using the error correction codes (FEC).

Apparatus for measuring green-speed

A method and apparatus is employed in determining the green-speed of a golf putting green. The method is achieved by selecting a site on a putting green having a relatively flat surface and determining the extent of putting surface available for measurements, setting a green-speed reading apparatus including a ramp, which includes a raised start end and a ground contacting release end with at least one golf ball rolling track thereon, in a first direction whereby the release end of the ramp contacts the putting green surface at the selected site, selecting one of two predetermined start positions for a golf ball based upon the extent of putting surface available for measurements and retaining the golf ball at the selected start position in the track, the start position being at the raised start end of the track, releasing the golf ball from the start position, allowing the golf ball to roll down the track by gravity onto the putting green surface, measuring the distance the golf ball rolls across the putting green from the release end of the ramp, repeating the test with the apparatus facing in the opposite direction at the selected site and measuring the distance the golf ball rolls across the putting green from the release end of the ramp, and calculating the average distance of all the golf balls rolled to determine a value in terms of green-speed.

Plastic lens and lens barrel

A plastic lens, comprising: a first edge section having a first outer circumferential edge surface formed substantially parallel to an optical axis of the plastic lens; and a second edge section having a second outer circumferential edge surface formed so as to have a step with respect to the first outer circumferential edge surface, wherein the first outer circumferential edge surface is not coated with a black coating material that suppresses internal reflection of light, and at least a portion of the second outer circumferential edge surface is coated with the black coating material that suppresses internal reflection of light.

System and method for calibrating a location determined by an inertial navigation unit

A method, system and inertial navigation unit are provided in order to facilitate location determination by calibrating a location determined by an inertial navigation unit. The method may receive a magnetic pulse, such as a magnetic pulse generated by a lightening strike, with a plurality of first magnetometers and with a second magnetometer co-located with the inertial navigation unit. The method may also compare a representation of the magnetic pulse received by the plurality of first magnetometers to a respective representation of the magnetic pulse received by the second magnetometer. Further, the method may correct the location determined by the inertial navigation unit as a result of the comparing of the representation of the magnetic pulse received by the plurality of first magnetometers to the respective representation of the magnetic pulse received by the second magnetometer.

Mass spectrometer

Under the control of a DDA (data dependent acquisition) execution controller (281), LC/MSn analysis data are acquired with a measurement unit (1) and stored in a measurement data storage section (23). In the case where the MSn analysis is automatically performed, a precursor ion intensity, TIC value and BPC value are also stored and related to the measurement data. In an analysis of the data, a spectrum display condition setter (25) displays, on a display unit (4), a setting window for allowing an analysis operator to enter a precursor ion intensity threshold as well as a product ion intensity threshold which is either the TIC or BPC value, and stores the entered values as a judgment condition in a spectrum display condition storage section (26). When an appropriate retention time is specified on a chromatogram displayed on the screen of the display unit (4), and if MSn spectrum data has already been acquired at that retention time, a spectrum judgment section (27) determines whether or not the precursor ion intensity and other relevant data related to the MSn spectrum data satisfy the judgment condition and selectively displays, on the screen of the display unit (4), only MSn spectra that satisfy the judgment condition. By this operation, useless MSn spectra with low ion intensities are excluded from the display.
