The invention discloses a large-scale battlefield situation smart sensing system, which comprises a wireless sensation network and a terminal receiving device. The wireless sensation network is formed by the self organization of wireless sensor nodes; each node comprises a processor module, a memory module, and a wireless communication module, and an integrated GPS module, an electronic compass module, a laser ranging module and a plurality of video acquisition modules. The wireless sensor nodes perform motion detection, target identification and classification through the video acquisition modules, then perform target ranging, determine the geographic coordinate information of the target and perform multi-hop propagation in the network. Each sensor works in cooperation to complete the sensation to the battlefield situation. The terminal receiving device collects the battlefield situation information in real time through the multi-hop wireless sensation network and converts the information into a two dimensional planar image for display. The invention has the advantages of large-scale multi-target detection, rapid deployment, real-time accurate information acquisition, strong anti-strike capability, multi-terminal access supporting and strong expandability, thereby having broad market prospects and application values in various military and civilian applications.
