The invention relates to an instrument which can monitor,
record and analyze frequency, intensity and the
time ratio of exhaling and inhaling of
human body respiratory movement, and has a function of an MP3 player. An oronasal
airflow respiration sensor and a thoracoabdominal
respiration sensor are adopted to respectively monitor
respiration airflow at the position of the oronasal of the body and thoracoabdominal respiration movement changes, and therefore respiration data of the body can be overall gathered. After analog-digital (A / D) conversion, the respiration data are digitized. With a
central processing unit (CPU) as a core, the functions such as analyzing, storing, displaying and transmission of the respiration data and an
apnea warning function are achieved. Meanwhile, the function of the MP3 player is added, a nervous
mood of a to-be-monitored person is alleviated to a certain degree by playing music, and the objectivity of
respiratory monitoring is improved. Furthermore, a
wireless technology and an internet technology broaden the
usable range of the
respiration monitor, so that a patient can self-monitor in the home, and contacting between the patient and a hospital and an emergency center can be convenient and fast.
