The invention discloses a driving behavior state-based forward collision early warning method. The method specifically comprises the following steps that: S1, the driving behavior state parameters andvehicle motion parameters of a running vehicle are collected; S2, the actual response time of a driver in the running vehicle is acquired through a driver response characteristic calibration function; S3, a safety distance between the running vehicle and a target vehicle is determined according to a kinematics formula and the vehicle motion parameters; and S4, the safety condition of the runningvehicle is judged on the basis of the safety distance between the running vehicle and the target vehicle, and early warning is conducted according to the safety condition of the running vehicle. According to the method, with factors such as the dynamic characteristic of a driving state and a driving environment comprehensively considered, the response time of the driver is corrected, and therefore, the real-time performance of the response time is guaranteed; and a safety distance threshold value can be dynamically adjusted, and therefore, a vehicle distance model has good adaptability, and the accuracy of a forward collision early warning system is improved.
