The invention provides a high precision monitoring and
early warning system and method for roof deformation, and relates to the technical field of roadway
deformation monitoring and early warning. Thesystem comprises an explosion-proof
optical fiber sensor, a sensor integration device, a
signal conversion device, a
data transmission device and a
data processing unit, the explosion-proof
optical fiber sensor converts a roof displacement
signal into spectral information, the sensor integration device is connected with the explosion-proof
optical fiber sensor within the same monitoring range, the
signal conversion device is connected with the sensor integration device, so that the spectral information is converted into an electronic signal, and the
data transmission device transmits the electronic signal to the
data processing unit. According to the high precision monitoring and

system is used for monitoring, the explosion-proof optical
fiber sensor is installed in a selected monitoring area, each component of the
system is connected to monitor the displacement of a roof, a central controller and the
data processing unitestablish a spatial three-dimensional model of surrounding rocks, the roof deformation is determined in real time according to the
