A method and system for computer assisted orthopedic feedback of at least one surgical object relative a pre-operative plan are disclosed. The pre-operative plan includes a virtual object, which is the virtual representation of the surgical object, and a virtual structure, which is the virtual representation of the patient structure. The method comprises providing the pre-operative plan including planned position and orientation of the virtual object relative to of the virtual structure; obtaining the position of the patient structure based on a surface of the patient structure using a surgical navigation system; obtaining the position of the surgical object using the surgical navigation system; registering the patient structure to the virtual structure and the surgical object to the virtual object; tracking a current position and orientation of the surgical object using the surgical navigation system; and providing feedback of a current position and orientation of the surgical object relative to the planned position and orientation of the virtual object based on the tracked current position and orientation of the surgical object.

A virtual chassis system includes a plurality of network nodes configured with a master virtual chassis address. The network nodes are connected by virtual fabric link (VFLs) that provide a connection for exchange of data packets between the network nodes. The data packets include source MAC addresses and associated hardware device information, such as source chassis ID, source network interface identifier and source port identifier information. The network nodes use this information to maintain synchronized MAC address tables for forwarding of data packets in the virtual chassis system. One or more control protocols in the network node are used for topology discovery, master network node election, generation of routing tables, health monitoring and other functions.

The invention provides a method for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle formation by imitating bird flock behaviors and using virtual structures. According to the method, a bird flock formation structure is mapped into an unmanned aerial vehicle formation structure to build an optimal formation position of the unmanned aerial vehicle formation; control commands are calculated through a virtual structure model; then unmanned aerial vehicles are controlled to arrive at a designated position by an unmanned aerial vehicle control unit which receives the formation control commands. The method for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle formation by imitating bird flock behaviors and using virtual structures comprises following steps: 1. a mathematical model of the unmanned aerial vehicle formation is established; 2. a formation control position is determined through bird flock behaviors; 3. a virtual structure of the unmanned aerial vehicle formation is established; 4. formation control input is obtained through a mixed method of bird flock behaviors and virtual structures; 5. formation control is carried out by use of the mixed method of bird flock behaviors and virtual structures. The method makes full use of the simplicity and universality of the bird flock behavior mechanism and virtual structure method in the formation control law design; continuous and stable control of unmanned aerial vehicles under formation condition is guaranteed.
