A method is provided for establishing P2P radio connection in wireless communication networks, comprising: the user equipment, as the link probing originator, transmits link probing signals via the allocated direct communication link to another user equipment as the link probing responder, according to the initial probing power provided by the wireless communication system; said another user equipment transmits the ACK message to the link probing originator via the direct communication link when receiving the link probing signals and said link probing signals meet the basic requirement for direct communication; the user equipment, as the link probing originator, monitors the direct communication link, and communicates directly with the link probing responder via the direct communication link after detecting the ACK message from the link probing responder. This method effectively guarantees the procedure of establishing P2P communication between the user equipments in P2P communication course, by utilizing the link probing process of transmitting link probing signals.

Touch screen display and method of operating the same

A touch screen display device is described that includes a display panel, a display driver, a sensor circuit and a combination unit. The display panel has a plurality of display elements arranged between a first and a second electrode layer. The display driver is arranged for providing display signals comprising a common display signal and an input control signal to the display panel. The sensor circuit is arranged for providing a probe signal and a shield signal mutually having the same phase and frequency and for generating a touch signal in response to the output signal received from the first electrode layer. The combination unit provides a drive signal to the first electrode layer derived from the common display signal and the probe signal, and further provides an output control signal for the display panel from the input control signal and the shield signal.

The invention discloses a D2D (Dimension To Dimension) pair/D2D cluster communication building method which comprises the following steps that: 1) initiator user equipment actively sends a cluster building request signaling code to a base station via a honeycomb link, wherein the content of the cluster building request signaling code comprises a communication mode, user equipment capability and a business label; 2) after the base station receives the cluster building request signaling code, the relevant information of the initiator user equipment is measured and analyzed so as to be combined with a system information selecting and scheduling mechanism to broadcast the cluster building request signaling code; 3) after the initiator user equipment and the adjacent user equipment receive the cluster building request signaling code, analysis is carried out by aiming at a cluster building strategy message; 4) the initiator user equipment sends a channel probing signal; the adjacent user equipment measures the D2D link quality; and the adjacent user equipment, which satisfies the requirement and serves as the candidate cluster use equipment, sends the cluster building confirmation message. According to the D2D pair/D2D cluster communication building method, the traditional cluster communication building flow simplified, resources are saved, and time delay is lowered.

Antenna steering for an access point based upon probe signals

A method for operating an access point in a wireless local area network (WLAN) is provided. The access point includes a directional antenna for communicating with a plurality of remote stations, and the directional antenna includes an omni angle and a plurality of directional angles. The method includes selecting one of the remote stations from the plurality of remote stations, transmitting a first probe signal via the omni angle of the directional antenna to the selected remote station, and measuring a first probe response signal received via the omni angle from the selected remote station responding to the first probe signal. A respective second probe signal is transmitted via each one of the plurality of directional angles of the directional antenna to the selected remote station, and a second probe response signal received via each directional angle from the selected remote station responding to the respective second probe signal is measured. The measured first probe response signal and the respective measured second probe response signals from the selected remote station are stored in an antenna database.
