A method and apparatus is disclosed for mechanically-assisted liposuction treatment. The apparatus includes a hand-holdable housing, an electro-cauterizing dual cannula assembly, and a reciprocation mechanism. The hand-holdable housing has a cavity adaptable for receipt of the electro-cauterizing cannula assembly. The electro-cauterizing cannula assembly has a distal end and a proximal end and at least one aspiration aperture about the distal end. The reciprocation mechanism is disposed within the housing and is operably associated with the inner cannula so that the inner cannula can be selectively caused to reciprocate relative to the stationary outer cannula mounted to the hand-supportable housing. As the inner cannula is caused to reciprocate relative to the housing, the aspiration aperture formed through the distal end of the cannula assembly is caused to undergo periodic displacement. During aspiration of tissue, high-voltage RF power signal supplied to electro-cauterizing electrode structures formed about each reciprocating aspiration aperture to effect hemostasis thereabout. Such hemostasis is achieved by causing protein molecules within aspirated tissue to coagulate in response to the high-voltage RF signal being supplied across the electro-cauterizing electrode. In the preferred embodiments, the amount and rate of such aspiration aperture displacement is controllably adjustable. The cannula assembly is releasably detachable from the hand-holdable housing to facilitate cleaning and sterilization of the cannula assembly and the housing.

A mechanical component (922) of ST is caused to be released in response to a reception of WS at ST, whereby a pin (308) of ST transitions from an engaged position to an unengaged position without any human assistance or mechanical assistance by a device external to ST. An end (1002) of the pin resides within an aperture (1102) formed in a first portion (312) of an enclosure (302) spaced apart from a second portion (310) of the enclosure by a gap when the pin is in the engaged position. The pin is fully retracted into the second portion when it is in the unengaged position.

The invention provides a flexible ultraviolet light imprinting composite template and a preparation method thereof. The composite template adopts a three-layer structure and comprises a flexible supporting layer, a middle layer and a rigid structure layer, wherein the flexible supporting later is a low-elasticity-modulus polymer substrate; the middle layer is an ultraviolet light curing cross-linking agent of a mixture of a polyfunctionality organic sulfydryl monomer and a polyfunctionality organic olefin monomer; the rigid structure layer is an ultraviolet light curing cross-linking agent of a mixture of a polyfunctionality sulfydryl monomer containing silicon and a polyfunctionality olefin monomer containing silicon; and the surface of the rigid structure layer adopts a micro-nano imprinting structure. The lexible ultraviolet light imprinting composite template is cured and prepared in an ordinary laboratory environment, and vacuum or nitrogen protection is not required; when the ultraviolet light curing imprinting is performed, mechanical assistance is not required; and the composite template has the advantages as follows: the flexible template imprinting is self-adapted to the shape of the substrate, and the rigid template can duplicate a high-resolution nano-structure.
