It can use battery power, has an ovaloid shape, can be constructed of thin flexible plastics, and operates in various positions that eliminate the need for a pickup tube. A consistent problem with soda savers, in that they destroy carbonated beverages by delivering them in a violent manner, has been solved by utilizing a low pressure delivery mode. The described volumetric displacement device can operate in a conventional refrigerator.
